A aimé : The campsite was beautiful, directions to the site and to the pitch clear and helpful. Self check in straight forward :-)

N'a pas aimé: Unfortunately when I arrived late at night the bed wasn’t made up with no sheets available. I left for the night to not disrupt other guests alongside pretty extreme social anxiety. Host responsive and arranged for the bed to be made the following day. The following evening when I returned my belongings had been removed from the tent. Text conversation with one of the staff members suggesting they could communicate to staff on site. I explained my puppy’s food had been removed. Belongings returned to tent the following day with an apology for the miscommunication with communication with another staff member over email. Requested partial refund due to inconvenience (unable to use the shower block as toiletries were in the bag of belongings moved) however this has been refused. I was willing to move on as I appreciate its rare but these things affected my stay.

Réponse du gestionnaire : I'm really sorry about the issues, but as I said if you had called me I could have sorted you another tent upon your arrival straight away. Again, if you called me r.e your belongings I could have got the cleaner to bring them straight to you. We do also have toiletries in the shower/changing rooms. Our number is on all emails and also on the welcome pack in the tent. Sorry that you were not satisfied, but this is extremely rare situation (as you can see from our reviews also) that could have been resolved at the time. I have offered you a night stay to apologise and show you this is not our usual self, but you have refused.

A aimé : Beautiful setting. You didn’t realise how you were by the duel carriageway. Toilet and shower facilities were good everything was kept nice and tidy

A aimé : A great location, right next to the river. Shower and WASHING. Amenities were nice and clean. Definitely stay again

N'a pas aimé: It’s being super critical instead of Forest Park as a seating area perhaps decking like some of the other tenants have, but this might be a work in progress and could be on the list already

A aimé : Loved our 2 nights hassle free glamping, everything was ready for us to just turn up and relax, so no setting up or packing away in the rain, great views good power shower, and just left alone to enjoy our break, great value and definitely would go again

N'a pas aimé: The stone track could do with a few pot holes/humps filling in but as stated on website how steep this is you cannot moan.

A aimé : What a beautiful location, our tent was very well equipped and plenty of space for us all including our 2 doggies. Will definitely be returning next year for another adventure

A aimé : We loved exploring the woods and going for walks. We were right by the river and pond which my little girl loved, there were older ducklings and their mama that would make their commute to the pond which was so exciting and they got brave and came over to our tent ❤️ The tent was lovely, basic glamping but still enjoyable and very relaxing.

N'a pas aimé: Would have liked our tent to point towards the lake, we were in quite a dark spot that didn’t catch much sunlight. The hill was a nightmare but made the most out of being tucked away from the the noise of the busy main road and it was nice being in a tiny valley.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hello. Glad you loved the location and the ducks :-) If you book again let us know your preferred tent. Some people love Porcha when it is hot and sunny as nicely shaded and like that it's more secluded than the others. Everyone has different favourite tents :-)

A aimé : Great location, really stunning campsite Tents spaced well and felt pretty secluded Hosts very friendly and helpful and even thought they aren’t there all the time they are very responsive and helpful via text / phone

N'a pas aimé: Could maybe do with another shower as there is only 1 but the one they have is good The road to the campsite is very steep but they do explicitly state that and it wasn’t a problem for us but for someone less mobile they may struggle

A aimé : Beautiful central location for all sorts of activities and days out no more than 30mins away. Superbly quiet rural spacious area with surrounding woods. Very clean and safe for young ones with lots of added extras to make your stay super comfortable. Fantastically equipped yurts with great outdoor private space. Very informative emails before arrival and checking in. This site does have a steep driveway to field however you are forewarned and they have very thorough and clear instructions including different options for parking. This did not cause us or any other campers an issue and would not put me off returning.

A aimé : Setting was fab , we were at side of a small waterfall and stream and a pond at the other side . We had plenty of space and were very comfortable .

N'a pas aimé: The hill was steep so left car up at the top , could do with maybe another shower and would also benefit from some solar lights on the walkways
