A aimé Our first stay in campervan . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather lovely well kept site showers warm and clean .

A aimé Easy access to pitch and from there to toilet block. Clean facilities.
Quiet, but that was expected being end of year.
There was a road closure in operation during part of our stay and we were given helpful advice reducing the impact of this, specifically on departure.
Staff very helpful and pleasant.

N'a pas aimé Recycling and waste bins could be more clearly marked showing which were for card, paper etc. and as recycling is different in parts of the country the bin types could be shown on the information pack so avoiding separation when at the bins.

A aimé Really nice site with direct access to country walks. Clean, warm shower room and a proper shower!

A aimé Lovely fully serviced gravel pitch. We didn’t have an aerial cable long enough to reach the tv connection on the pitch but the reception staff loaned us one.
The facilities were clean and warm and the showers were hot.

N'a pas aimé No shop on site for provisions(the staff on reception were more than willing to help if we had run out of the basics though)
We visited midweek so the bar on site wasn’t open

A aimé Super quiet - mainly seasonal with statics and lodges.
Amenities are spotless and modern..
Quite exposed if windy, otherwise fab.
We have subsequently booked directly for another stay.

N'a pas aimé Need a car as there’s not much within walking distance as Main road is national speed limit without pavements.

A aimé Spotlessly clean site. Very hospitable team. Loved the serviced pitch. It made life much easier.
The food facilities were great and the small bar was treat.
This site is really quie.
The views from the dog walking field are brilliant.

A aimé The site, peace, showers.

N'a pas aimé Noisy kids, shouting steaming, glad when they went home so much quieter, noisy dogs, owners just letting them bark. The lane down to the site, although there are a couple of pull ins, this lane gets used by trucks, tractors, large vans, and obviously caravans and motorhomes, if you do have the unfortunate time of meeting one of these with your caravan on it will be difficult.
