Oak and Stars Hideaway

A aimé We loved the secret garden feel to this getaway. With plenty to enjoy from the cabin, a hot tub, a fire pit, relaxing seating, bbq and outside dining. The cabin was well kept and super cute! We absolutely loved the smaller details like festival vibe lighting. It’s almost like a self made retreat. We heard a lot of wildlife which gave us that true escape from the city. We also appreciated the retro radio which we used as background noise for hot tub time. A really lovely getaway and Chloe (the host) was super accessible, answered any questions and was informative. N'a pas aimé No dislikes, just felt information overload for arrival however it was needed to find it. We would have loved access from the car park to through the log delivery gate for ease. But these are tiny things from such a lovely time we had away, we are sad to come home.

A aimé Petite , clean and very well equiped.
The views are beautiful, the privacy is good. The hottub is very clean and easy to heat with the logs provided. Best of all was Toby the dog greeting us and giving us a lovely send off. Chloe , the owner was kind and helpful .

N'a pas aimé We stayed during the week when young people walking to and from school could be quite loud. Nothing to be done about this, it's a normal part of everyday life, just be aware that you will hear them during term time

A aimé A perfect retreat! Although the hut is located on a piece of land just up from the owner’s house, it is entirely private. We spent our time only meeting the owner at the start and end of our stay.

The hut is perfectly supplied with a cooker, fridge and all the utensils etc you’d need. There’s a bbq outside too. All bedding and towels are provided. Basically, you’ve got everything you need apart from food.

The hot tub was just amazing (once I’d calmed my pyromaniac husband down!) and we sat looking at the hills across the valley.

The village is a ten minute walk away, with lovely independent shops and eateries. There’s no much not to love!

A aimé liked the hot tub, the owners were very nice and helpful the cabin and seating area were very cute and cosy especially with the fire pit on.

N'a pas aimé I believe for the amount of money you could get something a lot more private as we probably should of checked a bit more detail as we thought it was on private land and not at the back of there house even tho they left us too it, it was still in the back of our minds. It just wasn’t what we had pictured building up to it.
