N'a pas aimé Dreadful place. The worst and most expensive I have ever stayed at. Dirty, untidy, showers broken, looks more like a scrapyard than a camping site. Pitches are not clearly marked, everyone parking wherever they like. Not even given a pitch number so when I returned with my campervan after 8pm I just had to park in any place I could find. I have a 6m campervan (crafter), and because the owners had stipulated on this site that campervans had to be 5.5 meters or less, I had to book motorhome site (though note above, there is no signed demarcation of areas). When booking for a motorhome it says ‘no campervans’… so not sure what to do. Given that the sites are all the same/some not marked at all, I asked for a refund for the difference. Was told that I had to pay more because I was a taller vehicle. What? Ignore the responses from the site on here that suggest they are surprised by the reports of the state of the place. Reception (see the photo of what looks like a dump for computer equipment ) is manned by the owner 3 meters away from the rubbish and the broken showers - he knows about these things and has done nothing about them.

A aimé The location of the campsite was great. Really close to the beach and some local pubs and shops.

N'a pas aimé This campsite needs some serious TLC and updating. The facilities are not fit for purpose and filthy. There is scrap metal, rubbish and just general debris everywhere around the site. They charge a premium price for below standard facilities, I’m guessing they try to justify due to the location but it is not justified at all. I believe this campsite should be closed for some renovations as parts of it are not safe. They advertise WiFi but this was not available at our pitch which was not far from the main house so not sure why it’s advertised if the signal strength is not enough to reach people. All in all a disappointing stay and feel like we have been ripped off. Due to a festival in the area no other accommodation was available so couldn’t move short notice.

There is no excuse for the poor condition of our facilities. We sincerely apologize that you found them to be filthy and not fit for purpose. Your comments about the scrap metal, rubbish, and general debris are incredibly serious. We agree that parts of the site are not safe, and we are committed to addressing these issues immediately.

People watching, it’s a small site so neighbouring pitches close together.

N'a pas aimé Restaurant in holiday park not open to outside guests and no other options within walking distance. Fish and chips at North Beach good quality but expensive. Nisa has very limited choice if you want to barbecue, only jarred frankfurters and frozen beef burgers.

A aimé Setting was excellent Views across the fields wildlife all around. Hot showers. Toilets clean. Large washing up area. Beach 200m up the road.with a cafe. Friendly staff on site. Pitches level. Local shop with basics and camping supplies walkable. Dog friendly.sunsets on the beach over the sea. Stayed 5 nights peaceful and comfortable in campervan.

N'a pas aimé Could be tidied up a little as building supplies and old facilities left to dilapidate. Did not impact stay.

A aimé We would really recommend Hunstanton Camping. We had a great welcome and pitched up in a perfect spot over looking the countryside. The campsite itself is in a brilliant location, a 2 minute walk to the beach!
Absolutely no problems with showers and toilet block, with lots of water spots across the site.

N'a pas aimé Appearance of the while site was tatty and rundown. On entry we were welcomed with a truck loaded with rubbish, old washing machines etc, that stayed there throughout our stay. I appreciate perhaps a natural
Feel was wanted but the weeds, nettles etc were out if control. The showers were need of a complete overhaul, some were not working and that just left 2, one that had a blocked shower tray and the shower had ti be hand held, the water covered the floor and flowed out under the door !
We went off site for the day and when we got back our pitch had been reallocated, no apology made, but were reallocated another pitch, Nigel just said he gets lost as to who is where!
Whilst music playing is ok, there was no control over the volume and at some points we had 2-3 groups blasting put different music.

We are, however, deeply sorry that the overall appearance and condition of our site did not meet your expectations. Your description of the tatty and rundown appearance, the uncontrolled weeds and nettles, and the pile of rubbish is unacceptable. We are also very concerned about the issues you raised with our shower facilities, including the blocked tray, broken showers, and lack of functionality. This is a clear failure on our part, and we are investigating these issues immediately to prevent them from happening again.

We sincerely apologise for the mix-up with your pitch. This is a serious error in our booking process, and we are reviewing our procedures to ensure pitches are correctly allocated and managed. Nigel's comment was not an acceptable response, and we will be addressing this with our staff. We also apologise for the loud music, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for all our guests. We will be implementing stricter controls on music volume moving forward.

A aimé Nigel was a pleasant chap to deal with.

N'a pas aimé Unkempt site. Nettles and weeds everywhere. Very tatty. Old rusty bin lids strewn about the site used as fire pits. Which had burnt the grass. Dirty showers. Dirty building housing the toilets of which one didn’t flush. Several occasions using the facilities no toilet paper in any cubicles or hand towels. The taps ran so slowly you could barely wash your hands or brush your teeth. The washing up facilities were two sinks on some hard core. No cover over it. Gents toilets only had one sink with running water. 3 urinals and only two worked. All this for £56.50 a night. The worst site we’ve ever been on. However good location for walking.

We are already investigating and addressing the problems you mentioned, including the cleanliness and functionality of the toilets and showers, the slow-running taps, and the lack of essential supplies like toilet paper and hand towels.
