Trinity Farm Organic Camping

A aimé Simple site, pitch where you like on a big field surrounded by woodland. Excellent facilities that were kept very clean and tidy. Fantastic farm shop and cafe so you can keep catering to a minimum if you wish. A short walk/bike ride to Bennerley Viaduct and the Erewash Canal which has fabulous trails to explore. Very friendly farm cat - happily takes liberties with your indoor space!

N'a pas aimé A bit more information would have been helpful before or on arrival (where to pitch, location of drinking water taps, bins, etc) and some contact during the stay to check everything was ok. Bit of a walk to the drinking water tap. A single person discount would make the price more competitive.

A aimé This is a great campsite, we had such a relaxing night away. The washrooms are absolutely spotless. They also have a cafe if you don’t feel like cooking in the morning, which is reasonably priced.

A aimé Showers were great. The cafe was fantastic and very friendly. Camping field was good - not too sloping.

N'a pas aimé Not the fault of the site, but the night time road noise was noticeable, but not enough to prevent an excellent nights sleep!

A aimé Simple, quick and easy. Friendly staff and nice cafe. No frills, but that was perfect for us for our quick stop-over.

A aimé Good back to basics camping, plenty of space, fantastic showers, although quite a distance from pitches. Love having the shop and cafe on site.

A aimé We picked this site as a conveniently located stopover en route to our destination. The large camping field is very pleasant and you can pitch freely where you choose. The new shower and toilet facilities are genuinely some of the best we've seen on a campsite! (However, my husband did get locked in and was told it happens a lot, so perhaps don't send children on their own!). The cafe and farm shop seemed really nice.

N'a pas aimé Not really a dislike but a suggestion - there was some confusion where to go on arrival (us and other campers) - we ended up asking in the cafe and were pointed in the general direction of the field. An email or message beforehand explaining where to go and that campers are free to pitch anywhere would have been helpful.

A aimé We had a fabulous stay at Trinity Farm. We only stayed one night, as we were in the area visiting relatives, but it felt like a real holiday. The camping fields were spacious and not crowded at all, and had good facilities. It was a real treat to be able to eat in the organic cafe in the lovely veranda with fab countryside views. The evening meal and breakfast we had there was delicious, and enjoyed the organic wines. We will definitely stay again given the opportunity.

A aimé Rustic campsite, in a remarkably quiet location so close to the M1. I stayed at the campsite for three nights. The bathroom facilities are a recent addition and very good. Everyone very friendly. The organic garden centre with lovely cafe is open every day, and Friday and Saturday evenings you can enjoy simple hot food and select an alcoholic drink from their wide selection of beers, lagers and wines, plus soft drinks. Nice pasties and cakes selection with coffee. Definitely will return.
