Although the site is on a slight gradient overall, we do try to keep pitches as level as we can. The campsite facilities we have are kept meticulously clean and these are checked throughout the day ensuring nothing runs out. Our prices are competitive alongside other campsites in the same area.
Yes, we are located next to the A17 and we do publicise this in our communications. It can be so noisy at times and there is not very much we can do to reduce the amount of noise. It is however, closer on the back field to the main road as only a hedge separates it from the road at the top. Thank you again for taking the time to leave the review on our site.

We are a family orientated site and this is not always to everyone’s liking. We are so glad you chose us to experience your first camping trip as we like to leave great impressions on families who are new to camping. We’d welcome you back to the Beeches anytime.

A aimé Helpful staff. Great play area for kids. Good toilet and shower (though I had to wait a while as there’s only 1, but it was free). Good value for money. Easy drive to Lincoln and Grantham.

N'a pas aimé No one’s fault, but it is noisy being next to the A17. You get used to it though. Some noisy neighbours who didn’t settle down by the staff. Had a bit of an ant infestation which the owners claimed was normal, being outside, but they did provide some spray which helped.

Our facilities we recently upgraded are free to those who stay with us but due to their popularity, and can be busy but sometimes there is a bit of a wait especially first thing in the morning. We do take pride on how competitive we are fees wise and yes we are centrally placed in respect of most places locally.
Yes, we are located very close to the A17. As for the noisy neighbours, we did deal with them but as you know some people have minds of their own but we have had communication back from them they will not be returning. With respect to this, you feel that The Beeches is not for you and although we try to resolve ant problems, this is not always possible. We always try to do our best, end of.

A aimé The park was a great hit with the kids and lots of shade for our dog. Toilets were clean and pitch sizes were really good. Easy to fine and a lovely welcome from the lady who runs the site they really are trying to turn it into a lovely family friendly site.

N'a pas aimé As others have said the A17 road noise was to loud for us but great if your using it as a base for activities around the area. My biggest dislike is for a family friendly site I think 11pm is to late for everyone quietening down. 10.20pm still really loud music and kids screaming and playing right outside our tent. My kids struggled to sleep with the noise still going on til late.

We do take great pride in the children’s play park and our cleaning schedules ensure that the toilets and showers ar kept meticulously checked and kept clean. We are a family orientated site. You are right that 1020pm having loud music and being disrespectful to other campers is not what you expect but as I spoke to you about this, it has been rectified with those who were causing the rumpus. We understand that not everyone is “ a courteous and considerate camper”. This will not be tolerated under any circumstances and goes against our ethics onsite. Thank you for being honest with us in bringing this to our attention.

A aimé This is a relaxed, family friendly site. (Though free range children may not be everyone's idea of fun). There's a small, basic wash block with showers.
It's good value. And was an easy place to stop for a night.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Neil, many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. You are absolutely right that we are a relaxed, family friendly site. That is always at the centre of what we’re all about. We do encourage children to be children and make great memories in the outdoors but we also discourage bad behaviour and this includes adults too. We have just renovated the shower block this last winter and this is the first year it is being used in its modern and updated format. We do also like to remain competitive price wise, so that you for the feedback on this. The new road signs we had made are finally making us easier to find?
Many thanks again for your unbiased review as we do like to hear how we’ve done but where we can improve.

A aimé 2nd time here, its a smaller campsite, large play area for the kids. We love it here, clean, friendly people, and very relaxing.

We have taken particular time and effort in making the play area safe and suitable for children. It is one of our highlights and so glad you can appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you all again at The Beeches very soon.

A aimé Amazing size pitches and friendly staff. Nice kids playground and close to local shops etc. Small size campsite.

N'a pas aimé Set by noisy road. I guess this can't be helped. 2 toilets and 1 shower cubicle for each gender which in busy times meant ques. Due to noisy road next to campsite I would not go back but will be perfect if this does not bother others.

Thanak you for mentioning about staff being friendly, our pitch sizes, children’s playground and being a small size. We would never want to be any bigger in size.
Yes we are next to the A17 and this is a very common dislike. If we could change this we would but you hit the nail on the head “it can’t be helped”.
We do take pride on our facilities and it doesn’t help everyone wanting to use them all at the same time. We appreciate your honesty feeling that due to the road noise you feel you would not return. We do not hide the fact we are so close to the A17 and as such we feel we do the best we can under the circumstances. Thank you again for taking the time to post this.

Our facilities are kept meticulously clean each day and we have walk and cycling leaflets available in our new reception but so glad you found the Viking Way walk which incidentally takes you miles.
Many people comment on the road noise, but this did not bother you. We guess it’s what you’re used to. We’d welcome you back anytime as you can see the work we do behind the scenes to run and maintain The Beeches. Thanks again for your unbiased review.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Julie, firstly thank you for leaving a review of our site. However, where do we start. We are so glad the weather was to your liking but we are not always blessed with great weather at all times.
We did talk to you throughout the weekend also made a fuss of your dog but you did at no time indicate that this site was not for you. This review you left us, quite frankly we wished you had not. We are a no frills, hands on, but we do talk to everyone who stays with us. Your choice to mark us down at a 4 is one of the lowest ones we’ll get all year. We felt we interacted with you all, asked if there were problems you let us know about these. Instead you choose to post a review like this which in all honesty says more about you than us who run The Beeches. In the words of Michelle Obama “The only expectations you need to live up to are your own”. Enough said

A aimé Our stay at the The Beeches was beyond lovely. Facilities were clean and tidy, site was cosy and really clean. Lots of space for our young children to run around and the park/s was lovely - lots of adventures for little people.
Lee the site owner was lovely and really helpful.
Overall - this was an amazing site to stay at. We left feeling happy and will definitely be returning.

N'a pas aimé Nothing we really disliked - the only thing I could mention, as this is really just finding something to write - is the toilets were a little cold - but the time of the year influences this.

We have taken great pride in the work we have done over the winter months and it is now coming into fruition.
Yes we agree, the toilets were cold when you visited but we do have heaters when it becomes colder to try to avoid this.
