A aimé The staff were really friendly, the facilities, the breakfast food was amazing. Feeding the goats and the walks to the waterfall

N'a pas aimé Noise from planes at times but does stop through the night but not everyone in our group were bothered by it but just the light sleepers

A aimé Loved the animals, loads of space to pitch tent and friendly staff. Also very clean facilities.

N'a pas aimé There was a nice barn with a bar that also served food, but unfortunately there was a private event on that weekend so we couldn’t use it. This was one of the reasons we picked this campsite so we could use that facility at night, so it should state on the website when there is going to be private events and the barn area is out of use so you are not disappointed when you get there.

Réponse du gestionnaire : BOOKINGS ARE MADE WELL IN ADVANCE FOR CAMPING, BUT SOMETIMES EVENTS ARE BOOKED CLOSE TO THE EVENT, ITS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF EVENTS THAT ARE BEING HELD IN THE BARN.
THE COW SHED IS A GREAT FACILITY IF IT IS NOT ALREADY BEING HIRED OUT FOR PRIVATE EVENTS AND IN MANY OCCASIONS PEOPLE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE, BUT WEDDINGS ARE A BIT DIFFERENT.

N'a pas aimé big field , but too many tents close together, no privacy. tent allowed to pitch right on top of me, compounded by a fire, with smoke blowing in my tent and car. i am a recovering Asthmatic, why is this permitted ?

Réponse du gestionnaire : Seriously Barry? You arrived on a Thursday, there were about 5 other tents on a 6 acre field.
The fact you are a recovering asthmatic is hardly the campsites fault or neighbouring campers.
You sound more like a grumpy old man who was upset because you thought your daughter had paid for the camping and she hadn't.
Our campers love the fact they can have a fire.

A aimé Lovely little site , able to pick your own pitch. Lovely view of the reservoir and there are friendly horses and goats on site to interact with.

A aimé Family of 3 visit 2 adults 1 child.

Campsite was clean and tidy. Able to park car next to pitch.
Washroom/showers clean and well maintained.
Washing up area available with warm water and soap, sheltered

Did not use the bar and cafe but looked very nice. A wedding took place the weekend we were there and not disrupt our weekend at all.

Horses, goats and peacocks on site, great for the whole family.

Walked to the bulls head for some food and walked the seven falls Hike. The weather was kind to us.

Would highly recommend this campsite. Will definitely be returning!

A aimé Great campsite, amazing views and walks nearby, relaxed atmosphere, and goats!! Toilets and showers were always spotless.

N'a pas aimé On a hill so not many flat pitches, may be an issue if busy but it was quiet when I was there so always managed to get a good spot.

A aimé Location , very clean showers and toilets . Great area for walking and seeing the different animals on the farm .
