No me gustó: Paying additional charges for a fire and gazebo. We didn't bother. Please remind your guests that if they let their dogs wander off lead they should still clear up after them.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: The place is very well looked after, all facilities are clean and tidy. It's peaceful and quiet, we had a nice weekend rest. Great place to have fun over the lake and to do nothing and just chill out with a bbq or fire pit and a couple of beers. Nice place for walks.
And it's just 1.6 miles away from Aldi, so if you run out of anything that's an easy and cheap stock up.No me gustó: –

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Really professional setup, greeted at the entrance, decent sized pitches, great view, pleasant facilities and site wasn't packed. Loved the food trucks both nights, even if the wait on Friday was longer than ideal!
No me gustó: I've camped with friends before in more lively/party sites and in more family orientated sites like there. There was a group in tents/vans of 10 that played audible (half way across the site) music well past 11 one night and a group in one of the lodges that did the same the next.
I'm ok with rules about quiet at night and book accordingly, but they could do with more strict enforcement it seems.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review, we do definitely go around each evening around 10.30 - 11pm to make sure people to adhere to the rules. I walked around and around the site on the Saturday evening to work out where the music was coming from and realised it wasn't from our site at all, it was from a festival/concert a few miles away and was bouncing off the woodland, making it tricky to work out which direction it was!!! Certainly had me tricked that night!!!! I had spoken to a few campers still up sitting outside their tents around midnight and everyone assured me it wasn't disturbing them. So I'm sorry i didn't see you to speak to. But please understand we definitely work hard to enforce the rules.

Open water swimming looked tempting but we were only passing through. Dog walks within the site were the best we have ever seen. All walks were small but well maintained with an abundance of nature. Just right for morning and evening bumbles Facilities were immaculate and all worked. Will definitely be returning many times in the near future.

We ask that dogs are kept on leads in and around the camping pitches. There are designated areas where dogs can go off the lead with lots of waste bins around. We hope that you visit again and if you do see this happen please do bring our attention to it so that we can address the issue.
