Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Stayed her one night with my boys. Amazing welcome when we arrived. lovely lodge with loads of facilities to make the experience easy and enjoyable (i.e fridge, hot water in all taps, washing machine and dryer, close toilets and showers).
The location is beautiful and we spent a few days fishing in the lake (stocked full of fish as well which made it more enjoyable for the boys), didnt swim in it as a little cold still for us, but definitely coming back in the Summer to try this out!
]No me gustó: Nothing, would stay here again any time, in fact boys are already asking when we can go back!
The campsite owners were extremely communicative …

After some rain the path down to the campsite can be wet and muddy - walking / waterproof shoes advised!

Thanks for your comments, the sunsets can be amazing here, and we love your photo!! With regards to the mud!!! Its been an intense time with the rain, and we have added areas of woodchip to help on the heavy traffic areas, which is helping a lot!

There was a valentines evening on when we arrived, selling pizzas and s’mores etc. lovely bottle of wine bought from the local winery who were selling their wines and ciders that night. Lovely wander around the lake.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We spent the first 2 days of the New Year in our Motorhome at the Woodside Country Park and it was delightful! Waking up to a crisp, bright morning overlooking the lake and watching a stunning sun rise, we counted our blessing for venturing out at this time of year. The site is clear, well organised and fully equipped. The staff were fabulous and very helpful with local knowledge and ensuring we were comfortable on-site. My wife braved the ice covered lake to take a swim and enjoy the beautiful Sauna. Fabulous location and one we'll return to again later this year!

Wow love your photos - was lovely to meet you. It was bracing that morning, but we were blessed to have the sunshine too.
