Pizza, shop, cafe and facilities all amazing, had the best time and cannot fault it! Will 100% be back and recommended to others already! Very very helpful when we forgot matches, can tell the owners work hard and put in a lot of time and effort.
No me gustó: No signal so remember to download maps before arriving, welcome break from our phones! Quick walk to the pub for WiFi when needed was perfect.

The location is great, views from the campsite and access to the walks were great. Very picturesque, dog friendly site.

We're really glad you liked the campsite, location, showers and cleanliness, we've put a lot of effort in this winter and it's nice to read your positive feedback.
I'm sorry you find the communication terrible. We're really saddened to read that, as we don't feel its true, yes, we're not on site 24/7, which is made clear before arrival, but Dan did see you on arrival to explain the campsite set up and saw you again various times throughout your stay. We can only apologise that we didn't receive your email pre warning us about your booking mistake. But because you had booked a grass tent pitch for your roof box, he directed you to pitch on the campervan pitch with the larger grass area for your friends tent so you could be together. Because of your booking mistake, Dan warned you once at the beginning of your stay that you would have to move for the last night to a pitch by the river so you could still camp next to your friend, but because you didn't move until later Friday night, and we were fully booked that night, you had to pitch in the car parking space.
There is never a bad word to say about Dan, especially his communication, and I feel I should say that Dan is the type of person that would stand and explain any walk, any local information or anything about sheep farming you wanted to know, knowing that if he does take the time to chat to campers in the middle of lambing time especially, it would make him get to bed at 4am rather than 3am, so I can't agree that the communication is terrible.
