Use of a shower 6 min walk from Campsite. And a little cafe/small shop.Thrrs is also a pub nearby which is a short walk and access to a bus service.

Even managed to get a bit of mobile internet (Giffgaff/O2) to check the weather. The Yew Tree pub is 5 mins walk away and does lovely food. Pints are a little pricey but they have a captive audience, so why not!
No me gustó: I only discovered pizzas weren't on after I arrived. Understandable reason but as they'd known for a few weeks it would have been nice to have been informed beforehand, but that is a very minor gripe, and the pub is open Weds-Sun.

Dan was very helpful and suggested a lovely walk I could do if the weather wasn’t great. As it was I managed a great walk up Castle Crag and over to Derwent water and back. Just stunning everywhere.
