Beautiful location with plenty of pitch space. Toilet block was very clean too.

The campsite is lovely and in an atmospheric riverside location. It’s separated in such a way that it feels quiet even when it’s technically busy.

The staff and those running the campsite are also very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Fantastic central hiking location too, I managed 8 Wainwrights in total from the site and you could absolutely fit in many more.

Great location, close to the pub in Seatoller. The toilets and washing up space is very accessible and close.

Showers are a little far from the camping area.

Amazing site for us as a VW campervan. We were at the far end looking up the valley...with limited hardstanding. September found us struggling for traction in the morning. Thankful to another camper (thank you Rob!) for giving us a run up to the slate mines so we didn't miss our activity but of course, most of all to Daniel for arriving later when we were back to pull us out with the tractor! Brilliant views from our pitch however. Toilets and washing up an easy walk from there and right next to some of the other pitches. We enjoyed a raised campfire by the river in the evening. Showers (3 of them) glorious, not too far a walk (a few mins), and half of the walk is along the "shower trail" through the site (so you join the road at the junction). Perfectly placed for activities up at Honister slate mines, plenty of walks around, and hills for those of us bike riders who live in Cambridgeshire! The Yew Tree Inn is also well worth a visit! We enjoyed the space and peace and quiet and will be back for longer next time!

Owning a heavy campervan and getting stuck in September damp conditions. Took it in our stride though and thanks to Dan for pulling us out!

Great little quiet campsite by the river with great views. Toilets and wash up facilities on site. Showers available a few mins walk away - clean and lovely hot water!

Found an empty pitch to camp , and parked car next to it , no hassle.
Toilet and wash basin block a couple of mins away , very clean also bins next to this block.
Showers next to farmhouse 6/7 mins away not a problem, clean and hot water, just as required.
Spoke to Daniel while here , very friendly and approachable.
Would recommend.

Location is great, very near to Scafell pike for hiking! Toilets and wash up areas are suitably equipped and were clean and tidy. Pitches were well labelled. Pretty easy to find too!

Some of the pitches seemed better than others, luckily wasn’t busy so had our pick of a decent one

Wonderful little campsite in a perfect location! We booked a last minute stay here and it did not disappoint! The views were lovely, the toilets were clean and showers were nice and warm. It says online there is no signal however we had internet the entire time (we might have just been lucky!). There’s also a freezer for ice packs if needed. We asked the owner for a fire pit which he kindly located for us too :) and the gift shop was well stocked. All round really great time here and a perfect little base in a quiet part of the Lakes. Just note the nearest shops are a little drive away but well worth going into Keswick as it’s both a nice drive and a pretty little village.
