No me gustó: Grass was long. We didn't see any staff our whole visit and no idea where or how to check in. Rather pricey.

Nice pub about a mile away that serves wonderful food...... we will return !!!No me gustó: Cannot find anything to dislike...it was just perfect!

We didn’t find any staff on arrival so called the phone number and were advised to just pitch up and enjoy our stay. It was off season and only one other pitch was occupied so this was no problem for us.
The toilet and shower block are basic but very clean and more than adequate at this quiet time of year.
The grounds of the old house are well maintained and there are longer walks along the river or into the local village where there is a nice pub.
Overall a very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable few days. We’re looking forward to returning when the temperature rises.No me gustó: –

Thanks for your review- we are glad you enjoyed the local pub, it does serve great food. We are happy to see you enjoyed walks around the estate as well.
We have staff at the house every day of the week and the Tearoom is now open and serving amazing homemade breakfasts and lunches, as well as the most incredible cake!
We are aiming to get the grass cut next week it has been a wee bit too chilly overnight this week. But we have had two gardeners in there pruning and weeding.
