Friendly, helpful owner, lovely peaceful site with generous sized pitches

We stayed here for 3 days In July and had such a great experience. As first-time campers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the host was incredibly lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They went out of their way to accommodate our group and answered all our questions with patience and a smile. The campsite itself was well-kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed, plus the bonus of friendly chickens wandering around, which we absolutely loved. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if you’re new to camping!

Very good site well maintained lots to see and do with the canal system a short walk away where you can hire canoes or just enjoy a lovely walk and grab a nice pint from the local pubs. Pitch size are very big

We had a lovely few days here. The owner Carrie is very pleasant and accommodating, and she never seems to clock out. Facilities are immaculate, the toilets have no bugs as nobody leaves lights on. Found the canal and went for a run on it one morning, enjoyed that, always wary of dogs on unknown roads but there weren’t any. Might never get back here again but have no problem recommending Fairhaven!

Big size pitches, host was around or could be easily found in her house nearby. Cleaning around and keeping area clean. Straight surface.
Chickens and little kids corner was lovely as it kept kids busy and they could spend time there with new friends met onsite.

Fridge is very useful, I believe there was even freezer. Only good points for that.

Extra toilet and shower would be good idea, as there is time you could que for it, but I won't take point down for that.

Loved the setting, the chickens, the clean flushing loos and showers, the access to a fridge and little honesty shop, they’ve thought of everything, even the bins were clean and well organised!

Beautiful peaceful site kept immaculately tidy. Large pitches, fire pit rental, clean facilities and lovely owner.

Proximity to Oswestry. Easy access and peaceful site. Flat spacious pitches and a warm welcome. Chickens wandering about.

Me, my sister and our 4 children stay here for 3 nights in the bell tent. It was excellent from start to finish. Carrie was lovely and really informative. The kids were sobbing when we were leaving. There were chickens all around which the kids loved. A small sandpit and a large bit of field for the kids to play in too.

There was a few things for sale at a very reasonable price such as milk, marshmallows and sticks, sweets, cold cans of pop and ice lollies.

There’s a fridge and freezer to store your food

Showers etc are clean and tidy I saw Carrie going in checking and cleaning them multiple times a day so they were really kept on top of.

Washing up area was nice too, instant hot water - all facilities were a close walk.
