Amazing location & views, very clean facilities, friendly & welcoming host (James), very level hard standing pitch! Excellent signage onto Offa's Dyke Path and on towards Hay-On-Wye from the site.

Great site, close to a road however there was 0 road noise. It wasn't busy on the site which was really nice! The facilities are lovely and very clean, well thought out even with those handy shower shelves! Theres also a lovely dog walk section which is great!

Everything :) But if we have to pick on something we'd say the facilities. I have seriously seen hospitals that aren't as spotless as the facilities here. The owner takes massive pride in everything about the site. Water to every pitch, electric close so you don't need 25m cables, nicely spaced out and well looked after.

Then there's the view - we may well come back again just so we can look at the view.

Very welcoming, although we had booked a static caravan with a toilet and shower, with five adults, we were told we were free to use the main block for both toilets and showers which was definitely the cleanest such facility I have ever used!

Had a fabulous short one night stay helped by the recent good weather. Site is off a busy main road but that didn’t cause us any issues with road noise. The site is about two miles north of Hay on Wye and there is a fantastic walk through the fields, alongside the river and parts of Offas Dyke pathway. We arrived slightly earlier than the usual check in time but James the owner had no issue with this and was extremely helpful and chatty showing us the facilities and explained everything in detail including the walk into Hay. The toilets and showers are probably the most spotlessly clean I’ve ever experienced on any site I’ve stayed at. The views are to die for and overall the site is extremely chilled and welcoming. We will definitely be back at some point in the future!
