Gorgeous site! Everything is really well maintained. Great, spacious pitches with amazing views. The facilities were spotless, I even took my crocs off to shower! The highest praise.
The owners couldn't have been more welcoming. James is on hand when you arrive to make sure you've got everything you need (and if you don't, he'll lend it to you!) and then leaves you in peace to enjoy the views!
And there's a lovely walk into Hay-on-Wye to top it all off.
Will definitely be returning.

James the owner greeted us with a warm welcome and a guided tour of the whole site.
He helped guide us to the pitch and with placing our caravan making sure we were happy there.
The site is maintained to the highest of standards.
The site has a wonderful view of the countryside for many miles.
There is a private footpath to the public footpath 'Offa's Dyke' so you can enjoy a quite stroll to the river Wye and beyond.
The sky on a clear night is magical.
The wildlife around can be heard in the distance including owls at night. Not too loud.

Fabulous, both James and Nerys were very welcoming and James showed me around the site, explained about walks around the site including into Hay. I did it but walked 10,000 steps and ended up with blisters on both heels and it was chucking it down with rain - not James’ fault , may I add.
But what a beautiful campsite,will definitely visit again , it was perfect despite the rain and blisters 😉 xxx loved it xxx

Lovely site very clean , very helpful owner helped me reverse into the pitch in the dark. Very clean facilities, so near hay. Beautiful views of the mountains and only a 40 minute walk into Hay

Lovely situation, beautiful views. Clean, well maintained facilities. Really friendly and helpful owners. Would love to have explored the walks but the weather was against us. Only gave 9 for location due to proximity to road but it really did not bother us.

Nothing to dislike, would defo stay again.
