Camping pod (four person)
Liked Helpful staff and a great location for walking the local hills. Food at the boathouse is brilliant, very friendly staff indeed. Stayed in a Octo cabin this time which was lovely and had everything we needed.
Pleasant stay thank you 😎
Disliked Drying room - was desperate to try my towel (oct), I did find a pay dryer in the upper toilet block on my last day, but didn’t have change with me.
WiFi - couldn’t get any from the octo, just wanted the weather updates each morning, although the cafe has WiFi I wanted to be away at first light.
Washroom facilities- could do with updating abit, although showers were hot (great), the area is very hard to keep clean. I saw the guy cleaning them each morning, but the shower area could do with a new floor.

Liked Very impressed with this site, pleasant staff with exceptionally clean facilities. Had 3 x showers at various times all were very hot which is fantastic when you’ve been hiking all day. Loved the small touches like music in the showers & cleaning equipment Provided to wash pots or kit in the outside sinks. Honesty box with cakes was a lovely touch too. Great walks along side the river, and fresh drinking water provided in the camping fields. I choose this site as my car is in the garage this week, great easy access to local munros via train, the train station is practically on the site. Easy to catch a bus back to Spean or onto Fort William / Inverness, great service (no buses on Sunday) most of the week. Lovely pub / restaurant to eat opposite the site entrance too, will definitely be back again. Great people thankyou!
Disliked Nothing - just struggled to get a bus or taxi on a Sunday, not a problem if you have a vehicle.
