Liked The people that run this site are the most friendliest owners i have ever come across in 30 years of camping on and off. Would i go back, yes i would just to have that interaction again and stargaze noise free in the middle of the wilderness.

Disliked I paid £10 for a nights camping so anything more than a piece of ground is a bonus, there were toilets and shower but not in the greatest of conditions!

Liked Everything, the attention to detail on this site is the highest standard I have ever come across, this is my favourite site by a mile and for the price its a no trainer!

Liked The guy who owns it is a really nice chap but I am afraid I dont book campsites because the guy who runs it is nice. I know its cheap but it was really poor.

Liked The woman running the site was very friendly and I had a nice big private space.

Disliked It’s a very basic site so basic is what you get absolutely no frills campsite even down to no loo roll in any of the toilets, fortunately I had my own. I was in my tent for 9 pm and I had an amazing sleep until 4.30 when the local cockerel decided it was time to get up! It’s on a farm so no complaints there in fact it made me smile once I was over the shock of the awakening and watched the stunning sunrise that was worth the payment alone. So all in all it was a 1 night €10 stepping stone to the ferry port nothing more for me.

Liked Quiet pleasant country location with a fishing lake, very peaceful. Nice and friendly owners.

Liked Big pitches and pleasant surroundings, close to supermarket too.

Disliked Bar closed way before the stated time, pitches too close to car park and some guy in a van reversed it into a tree and it was very close knocking it over and hitting my motorbike, so I had to move that and my tent for safety reasons. A group of what seemed like workmen were talking loudly outside the reception until the early hours of the morning so a poor night's sleep as the guy who couldn't reverse the van properly went at just after 5 am , this van wouldn't start so he just kept turning it over until it did this took ages! Poor experience never there again,!

Liked Was ok very pretty, nice clean facilities and plenty available.

Disliked Could not leave my motor cycle next to the tent I had to leave it in the car park with nothing to chain it to!

Liked It was very quiet and peaceful the host and hostess were very friendly and it was very picturesque.

Disliked Albeit absolutely no fault of the sites there was a fair bit of traffic noise plus some idiot started playing loud music in a nearby house at 6am once this went off after 5 mins the cockerels started. Like I say this is no fault of the site and wouldn’t deter me staying again.

Liked We love this place everything was as good and in some parts better than expected, we will without doubt be booking for next year the only thing we will change is we will go for 2 weeks not 1. Lovely clean pool and sunbathing area.

Disliked Maybe showers could do with a little bit of an update maybe another shelf or seat to put your clothes on but this is just a trivial personal thing, but apart from that there is nothing wrong with this site in our opinion.
