Disliked Small pitch size for caravan and awning, next to road for arrivals parking so had quite a bit of noise

Liked Lovely site, very quiet away from the road, we were located next to a beautiful well kept garden ground and garden were wonderfully maintained. Staff very friendly, very well staffed at all parts of the day. Toilets and showers clean, the pitches are large and spacious and just want you need! There is a small shop on site with all essentials a handy leaflets given when checking in with lots of useful information on about the site it has spark for the children and a lovely river where if your a keen fisher man can fish in there for free! A secure dog park area by the river that you can let you dog off the lead if you wish. There is a small pub that put on events such as bingo/ karaoke nights on a weekend if you like that sort of thing the food is there is beautiful and not expensive at all or lovely just for a drink surrounded by the mountains in Campsie Glen. There is a swimming pool of a small coat of £3.00 with a jacuzzi and changing rooms and toilet facilities which is great. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Campsie Glen and would fully recommend this back in the midlands to friends and family Thank you to all the staff at Campsie Glen. 😀

Disliked A gentleman close to us was playing music from his caravan quite loud during the time in the afternoon when sitting with chilling out after a day of exploring family having tea outside. As the weather was so beautiful we wanted to make the most of it. Maybe just a little reminder of the sound level meaning being (when is to loud) such a shame as the campsite is such a beautiful place with wonderful surroundings, Ruined the peace and quite a little.

Liked Quiet site from traffic, lovely setting in the trees and woodlands. Beautiful little river running by the side of the site. Nice pub with good food and friendly staff.

Disliked Toilets and shower blocks need cleaning and updating. Broken toilet seats and graffiti all over the toilet doors. Standard of cleanliness not brilliant but acceptable

Liked Generous well kept pitches. Fantastic clean showers / toilet block. Site was immaculately kept but also with a warm welcoming feeling. The 2 ladies ( apologies dint get their names) were always bubbly, helpful and friendly. Minutes from lake Bala and the town centre.

Liked The guy who welcomed us at the gate ( so sorry didn’t get his name) told us all about the site, the area, where to eat and drink if we wanted and made us feel so welcome, more than we have ever had when arriving at a site! The manager was equally as helpful, she went through our check in when we paid and ensured everything we needed was ok. Can not fault the place! Clean helpful friendly and if being honest cheaper than it should be!! Great site, great location and will be retuning.

Liked 1st class start to finish, beautiful site, absolutely nothing too much trouble for the owners who always give you a wave and say hello. Lovely fishing lakes, good size pitches and very clean. Best value for the money we have been to ever

Liked Everything about the site was spot on! Pitch was a good size and spread out from the next, facilities were spotlessly clean. Went to the bar which was dog friendly and a good vibe, all in all nothing bad to say and the owners could not of been any better, friendly, normal and welcoming thank you so much for a great stay!!!!

Disliked Road noise, you accept this if you want to be close to where you want to go.

Liked Pitches were level, good size and even had a picnic Bench for each plot. Amenities were spotless and shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance
