Liked Lovely site, spacious, hot showers, nice site to wander around

Disliked Be AWARE the walk to the beach is mammoth! Either a lethal public footpath which is very steep or the road walk with no pavements! If you have mobility issues or have young children you will need to drive into Porthtowan, the listing was deceiving as it said walking distance to beach but it’s a hike not a walk! Also compost loos were nasty

Liked Absolutely perfect, amazing views, friendly hosts, walking distance to weir with pub, hotel restaurant, oyster bar, coffee shops, boat trips, Exmoor adventures based here for all your water sports, everything you need. Very quiet and relaxed site, lots of space as host keeps numbers down. Highly recommend samphire on the weir little cafe amazing food. We booked 3 nights and stayed an extra night, will 100% be back. For info we stayed in our campervan.

Liked Veryquiet, good showers if you want remote and quiet this one’s for you

Disliked Extra narrow lanes and quite a trek up through them to the farm, especially in a van, the “sea view” is very distant, pizza oven and coffee hut is never open, no way of knowing when and if it ever does, no one in attendance, not how it’s made to look online and instagram

Liked Everything, perfect location on Swanage railway we caught the steam train a couple of times into Swanage and Corfe castle. It’s a big spacious site, good showers, the snack shack is fantastic, amazing breakfast, proper coffee, evening meals. Lovely family run, well attended site, well looked after. We loved it so much we stayed longer and will be back.
