Aberdaron, Gwynedd, Wales
Electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked It is a 15 minute walk down to the village, longer coming back as it is uphill ! The site and facilities are clean and well kept and the owners were helpful and pleasant
Disliked I was only there 2 days so cannot say for sure, but it was certainly windy when I was there, I think the area is quite exposed. That isn't an issue for me and it certainly isn't the owners fault, but maybe you need to be aware of that.

Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen, Glamorgan, Wales
Non-electric gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Andy is a great host, friendly and informative. The site is small but has a very cosy atmosphere and is lovely and quiet, ideal for those who don't like the 'wide open spaces' feel of many campsites. It really feels like camping in a natural wooded dell. Bathroom facilities are limited but very pleasant and immaculately clean.
Disliked Nothing.

Ruthin, Denbighshire, Wales
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The new facilities are most definitely five star, doubt you will find better. Lovely peaceful site with fishing.
Disliked It wasn't clear from the information provided that the cost of fishing was on top of the cost of camping. Whenever I have stayed in campsites with fishing before, this was included in the price. I don't have an issue with it, I just feel this ought to have been made clear because if staying for a week, that is quite an additional cost.
