Liked Private pitches in the woods - felt like wild camping. Hot water for washing up and shower.

Liked Clean, spacious, nice flat pitch. Excellent facilities for the price - hot water for washing up station, two hot gas showers, multiple toilets. Don’t use but saw WiFi code, fridge/freezer. Fantastic facilities for the price compared to some other places we’ve stayed, and very laid back but friendly owner.

Liked Pitches very well separated, very much left to our own devices. Blue Pool tearoom very handy for breakfast. Basics provided for camping - mown pitch in an otherwise wild meadow, some bricks for your stove/small fire, cold water tap in the field and small rubbish bins. Cold water shower the other side of the glamping bell tent fields.

Disliked Flip side of being left alone: Gates locked before 6pm on a Friday and Saturday, expensive for a bare bones wild camping pitch with a compost loo and a cold water tap, but worth it to have an almost wild camping location with some basics provided!
