Liked Really easy to find and great location with easy access to get to Barry Island and Cardiff. Helpful staff , spotlessly clean toilets and showers and spacious pitch and great WiFi connection. Extremely good value for money.

Liked Really nicely laid out site. LOVED the showers. There is a separate area to hang stuff and a seat away from the shower head. Really nice touch. Loved the radio was playing, and provided hairdryer- very nice touch. Toilets, showers and washing up area spotlessly clean. Spacious and level pitch. Anne kept us informed by email about barrier. And very lovely welcome from her husband .

Disliked The site isn't very well lit up at night, and the pitch numbers are really small and placed at the back of the pitch. We arrived in the dark and we were unable to see our pitch number until we got out of the motorhome, and used a torch. Reversing in was also difficult as there was no lighting within or outside the pitch.

The reason we don't have lighting everywhere is because people come to enjoy the beautiful night sky and all the wonderful stars that are so visible due to our rural location and lack of light pollution. I appreciate your feedback though and we will endeavour to let late arrivals know that a torch will be beneficial.

Liked Loved the privacy of our pitch, excellent host, extremely clean toilets, showers and wash up area. Really lovely site and easy access to it. Lovely big shower heads and fast flowing hot water

Disliked The candle shop on site was closed- shame . The cost of our stay seemed quite expensive compared with others we've stayed at through Pitch up. The included WiFi was very patchy and not that great

Liked Very easy access and super easy to get to -no narrow roads. Very clean showers, lovely hot fast flowing water. Sharon really friendly. Spacious site . Very happy campers and excellent value for money. Loved the fact we paid for the electricity we used rather than a set sum of money up front .

Beautiful, clean site and a spectacular view. Has a dog walking route, washing machine and fridge, showers, toilets , washing up facilities, water and waste disposal facilities. There is even a small shop selling essentials and their own free range eggs, bacon and sausages . Love their ambitions for carbon neutral/ eco friendly positive attitudes We highly recommend this site , and have already planned to use it again next year Tips for other travellers Good location on the border of Devon and Cornwall, and close to Tavistock for amenities such as Leisure Centre, shops and pharmacy, pubs and church and of course the famous Pannier Market

Liked Peaceful, and taking our rubbish home, we thought this a really good idea to make campers think about the amount of rubbish used.

Disliked It was bank holiday weekend and the ladies half of the unisex toilets didn't have toilet paper or a toilet brush. Very difficult to keep the toilets clean. Wasn't happy about paying £4.50 for a lime and soda. Not having a dedicated pitch as when we went out we weren't able to return to the same spot . No access to public transport and no Wifi

Liked Lovely campsite, very quiet and very good location - bus stop is right outside. Clean.

Disliked There are only four toilets and six showers divided into Gents and Ladies in for a sizable area of pitches. Could be busy in busy season. No WiFi- it's a dongle , and we had arrived too late to get one . To be honest, I found the site lady a bit unfriendly .

Disliked There are no facilities here and there is an ongoing feud between the site owner and the golf club right next door. Our gas wasn't firing and we weren't able to have a hot shower. When we asked the Golf Club manager if we could pay to use their showers he said a flat no- due to the dispute with the campsite owner. We felt the golf manager was missing a trick to make money and in the process wasn't sympathetic to our situation simply because he doesn't get on with campsite owner.

From the manager: There is no feud. I think perhaps you may have spoken to the wrong person. However the golf club showers are quite rightly for the paying golf club members only. However you can use the toilets if you are spending money in the golf club Bar / Restaurant. We do advertise there are no facilities here. All this occurred because your gas wasn't firing. No one else's fault. Hope you liked the fireworks at least. Cheers.

Liked It was easy to get to thanks to sat nav postcode given by site owner. Excellent correspondence between us and site owner. She sited us very privately, even though the site was busy. Great constant running hot water in showers. Good WiFi signal, and only 30 minute walk from Town

Disliked The walk to toilets, showers and wash up room was a bit long, and cleaned once a day so at times they were a bit grubby. There was only one bin that was overflowing, and couldn't work out where to empty toilet waste. There was no one to ask .

Liked Very relaxed, open and peaceful stay. Loved the onsite cafe - coffee was brilliant! All very clean and lovely helpful staff. Great walks for our dog around the fishing lakes and very close to beautiful Sandwich for shops, canal and restaurants. Would definitely go again! Thank you

Liked EVERYTHING! Site was exactly what we were looking for and so close to the beach. Showers and toilets were spotlessly cleaned more than daily. Swimming pool, bar and restaurant AND entertainment. We are definitely going to stay again and for longer .

Liked Arrived to a clean, pretty & well presented site. Lovely picturesque views, small pond to walk around & was very quite throughout our short stay. The welcome at reception was very friendly and informative. We were briefed on the sites amenities and local dog walking trails. Toilets & washing up areas were immaculate. Informed of local delivery services, which deliver direct to your pitch number, nearby supermarkets etc. Sadly didn't have enough time to visit the vineyard next door to do a tour & sample the produce. Definable book again just to do the tour.

Disliked Nothing we disliked. Introducing a simple information booklet would save the site staff time when at reception during busy periods. This could include the contact numbers for the food deliveries in the immediate area for those staying for longer periods
