Liked: We had a great stay here. The campsite is set ina beautiful location, in close proximity to the lakes, mountains and more. The campsite is well-equipped and set up. This was our second time coming and we hope to come again!

Owners were lovelyDisliked: Nothing to do with the campsite or the owners but people are scruffy, pick your rubbish up after you its disrespectful there was chicken bones left all over and other food rubbish that the previous people should of picked up after them.

Liked: Fantastic site with great facilities. Host were very friendly and welcoming. Great, clean toilets and hot showers. Washing up area with hot water and drinking water too. Access roads to the site were good and a lovely walk to Derwentwater where you can wild swim. It was just a great site. A freezer for ice packs would have been the icing on the cake but no complaints from us and would thoroughly recommend.

Liked: Really friendly couple running the site. Scenery was second to none! Surrounded by hills with a stream running by the site. Good facilities, showers were very clean. Would highly recommend. Loads of space, we could choose from any three fields.

Liked: Lovely location and friendly staff. Enough showers that were hot and powerful. Pitched right by the stream which was nice relaxing. Surprised to find a tap nearby which saved us walking back and forth to the sink area for fresh water.
