Lots of space to kick a ball or throw things around, music late at night was kept quiet by my group as well as everyone else staying there.

Liked: Great site with all facilities you need. Kids had loads of fun playing in the river alongside. Friendly staff who also lent us their gazebo on the one night it rained so we could still gather round the fire.

Liked: The natural nature of the site. Beautiful location, great views even a stream running through for a quick dip. A refreshing change from the regimented site that have become the norm, it’s camping as it should be…
Disliked: Walk along the road to Portinscale, not the distance, there’s no off road track so your dogging the traffic.

Liked: Really simple booking process, loved the text message welcome on the day of arrival. Choosing a time of arrival made the process really easy. Lovely welcome when arriving with thorough briefing of the site. Site facilities are simple but we weren’t looking for more on our visit, the team work hard to keep these clean and functioning as they should. Lovely views within the Newlands Valley. Safe area for the children to play in. Small park 100 yds up the road. Lovely and quiet site.
We had an incident during the week requiring a hospital visit. Asked to leave the tent until the end of the day. No issues whatsoever.
Thank you to everyone involved with the campsite. See you again another time.
