This was our first time staying at Marwell and we are really impressed. The pitches where neat, perfectly spaced and they accommodated our group really well despite us being electric, non-electric and a caravan we were close to each other meaning our stay was more enjoyable and happy kids.
We really enjoyed the bar; the bar staff, the entertainment provided, and we enjoyed a meal which includes food from the restaurant and the pizza oven; all delicious and hot AND came out in a timely manor.

We also took advantage of some of the pay for activities; quad biking which was really well organised - staff seemed to be in complete control and well trained themselves. And we also used the 2 day soft play pass which came in handy with the littlest member of our group.

Unfortunately the fact that there is a cesspit that is regrettably close by to the outside bar/dining area meant we had to endure the occasional waft whilst we were enjoying the nighttime entertainment and when using the wooden climbing apparatus. Luckily this didn't reach the pitches.

I would also mention that a few toilets perhaps closer to the pitches near the shop and washing up area may be handy. Having to walk a 4yr old late at night across the whole campsite to use the toilet is a bit of a faff and as only 4 toilets, did mean a few queues. (Despite this they where well maintained and although occasionally messy and dirty it was apparent that this unfortunately came from the amount of people trying to use it at one time and there did always seem to be staff attempting to rectify this)

Great area with lots of activities on site. Dinner at the bar and grill was good value and tasty. Easy access to the pitches. Close by to the coast.

There is only one toilet and shower block, which was quite far away from our tent pitch. The tents were pitched very closely together. We had some rather noisy neighbours on the first night!

Stayed in fully serviced hard standing, great size pitch, toilets very nice, could do with another daily clean in the eve and toilet paper top up. Play park and activities around the lake very fun, lovely nature walk. Pizza from restaurant was really good! I would recommend and visit again.

Great place. Spacious! Lots for kids. Nice restaurant and great food and drinks available. Would stay again.

Toilet block and water felt a very long walk from where we were pitched. The toilets often had no loo roll and were dirty at times.

The space, a walk around the lake, the shower blocks were clean & modern, the soft play, the cafe right next to the camping field for that morning cuppa, the adventure golf, the bar and live music!

Lack of baby change units

We arrived late and duty manager met us quickly and was very helpful taking us to our pitch and giving us all the useful information. Showers were hot and toilets mostly clean. Only downside was grass had been mowed and was blocking showers.

Absolutely loved it so much to see and do. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site was nicely kept and clean and tidy, all facilities were very good we will be returning there
