I don’t often leave reviews but on this occasion I felt I must. This is a fabulous site, owners are so welcoming and friendly, all facilities are lovely and clean. Communal area is such a lovely addition to the site. The location of the site is great, beautiful scenery and so peaceful yet plenty to do in the area. I will definitely be returning to this site, and would highly recommend !! :)

This has to be the best site we have stayed on as everything suits us so well. Very peaceful, plenty of walks and cycle paths and lots of wildlife at every turn.
Dave and Ingrid are lovely hosts and are always around looking after the site and available to help if required.
A spotless site with perfectly adequate facilities.
This is top of our list for a return visit….soon we hope!

Great communication from Dave the owner, fantastic location for direct access to walks from the site. Spacious, and private pitches with lots of planting and wildlife to enjoy. Very cosy shepherds hut! The communal gathering area was amazing and we definitely got our use out of it for shared meals and drinks with our friends as well as meeting other friendly campers. Toilets and showers were good. We booked the hot tub for a night which was great fun. We enjoyed the adult only aspect for this trip and we will be back.

This camp site is in the middle of nowhere. So it is really quite and no light pollution. Plenty of walks or bike tracks taking you round some stunning lake's and canals. The owner is very helpful and friendly they give you a map and explains where the interesting places are to go and see. Can't wait to go here again.

Beautiful campsite, so peaceful lovely to be able to go on walks straight from the campsite. Great pitch size and space between, we had a choice of where to pitch. Super clean and tidy would stay again.

Had cotton hand towels in the toilets, just a personal opinion. Don’t think they are hygienic in a public setting.

Everything! Excellent site - in fact one of the best I’ve ever stayed on. Great social eating area where we enjoyed meals with our friends. Pitches so spacious, site next to woods and mere and fab walk into Ellesmere. Friendly couple run site and I highly recommend

Everything, the site was clean.beautifully maintained. We had a warm welcome,the owners were excellent,helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. It was relaxing and peaceful just want we needed. We will definately be visiting again.

Location was excellent, lovely pitches, walking distance to Ellesmere. Facilities are well kept and the communal area is lovely.
