Location was excellent, lovely pitches, walking distance to Ellesmere. Facilities are well kept and the communal area is lovely.

Having to only use wood bought at the site

Lovely, calm site with excellent access to the lake. Plenty of space, very clean bathrooms with a shower, but mostly the owners were really friendly and helpful! We were staying with 2 dogs- they had so much space to explore!

Great location and setting, we took our dog and there were plenty of walks straight from the campsite. The owners were very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. Excellent facilities. We had a great pitch for our tent and there was plenty of space.

Plenty of space on site to pitch our tent without being too close to other units. On arrival we were showed round by owner Dave, who gave us a map of walks around the area. Nice communal area with lots of extras and kitchen supplies. Clean toilets and hot power showers. Washing up area outside with large sink. Lovely peaceful site.

Everything, the campsite has a stunning setting. The trees and plants are so well maintained. A lot of work has gone into this campsite.

The grounds were beautiful and led to some really nice walks. The communal area was nice. Very quiet and lots of nature to enjoy. I liked it was adults only. The owners were really nice and very helpful

Toilets and shower facilities could do with updating

We have visited Colemere every year since Dave and Ingrid took over. The site always attracts super friendly people plus we adore that it is adults only, so it is like minded folk.
Kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are brilliant, always clean.
There is a vineyard 0.6 miles up the road which holds seasonal pop up bar which is superb quality, supporting local if you fancy an early evening out.

The campsite was clean, facilities good and everyone really friendly. Lots to do in the area and we have booked to come back soon! Owner couldn’t be more helpful.

We didn’t dislike anything about the campsite, and as I say have already booked to come back. The only tip I would say is if you do want to watch anything in the evenings (as we do) then download to your device as we couldn’t get on 3G at all. If you are okay with getting back to nature and aren’t bothered about internet etc, then this place is perfect.

Lovely open field. Fantastically kept lawn. Friendly hosts. Well equipped communal area. Lovely walks directly from camper. Nice pubs nearby. Walking distance to supermarket.

When it got busy on the weekend there were not enough toilet of shower facilities.
