Clean site, bothy with a little pool table and warmth if needed was a nice touch, toilet and shower facilities were extremely clean. Free WiFi all over the site. The A road was a 5 minute drive away so was able to go on trips out very easily.

Very intense about the tent pitches spacing. We were told several times (and checked on while setting up) get the impression they've been warned about fire safety in the past and are being very proactive about it. Understand there reasons for doing it but came across a bit over the top.

The site wasn't our sort of thing, prefer something a little smaller and intimate and peaceful but that's down to our personal preferences, the site wasn't noisy by any means and many people would love this site.

We missed having a campfire too, but again understand they have strict fire safety rules to follow.

Very clean and tidy site with excellent toilet and shower block.
It is nice that there is landscaping dividing some of the pitches and some pitches also have the use of picnic benches.

It's a shame about the noise from the road but it didn't distract us overnight.

5* camping site. The couple that run the site were very attentive and helpful and always around if anything needed. The toliet and shower block were immaculate very clean and tidy. One of the best sites we’ve stayed on. Very peaceful too.
We only had to leave a day early due to 1 of our dogs cut there foot. Other than that we’d of stayed the full time.
We look forward to coming back.

the cosy-ness of the campsite, it wasn’t too big or too small was just perfect if u are looking for somewhere to stay!! quite spacious sized pitches! fitted our tent perfectly! the toilets were in perf condition! friendly staff and a fun games room! the campsite had wifi too!!!

no pool or outdoor games area for kids!

Very helpful owners who made sure our pitch was big enough for our tent on arrival.
The shower/toilet block was very clean and well maintained. The washing up area adjoined this and was under cover and had an external light if you needed it.
There was a dog field near reception, with a bench at each end with lovely views. If you find you've run out of dog poop bags there are some there for you to use.
Free WiFi, excellent, every campsite should have free Wifi.
There is also a little building that houses a games room and has a pool table in there, a fridge/freezer and some books and games.
From here we visited the Fingle Bridge Inn for Sunday lunch which was delicious (10 minute drive), get there early for a parking space, it's very popular! We also visited Exeter (20 minutes drive) to go paddleboarding on the River Exe, also get there early for a decent parking spot. Do your research 😁

Very easy camp site to find, very friendly staff, the site is maintained to a high standard, facilities are kept clean and tidy. All pitches are level. Camp site is controlled by vehicle recognition to access the pitches. The bus stops just outside the camp site.

The facilities were excellent, cleaned every day, and also liked that you could go in the Bothy and use the fridge and freezer and charge your phones too.The owners were very friendly too.

The only downside for us was probably the main road that was quite busy on the other side of our pitch,but it wasn't a major downside.
