Liked: Fantastic location with views of the mountains and the coast. Private access to a wonderful, unspoilt and sandy beach. Peaceful site and unique terraced pitches catering from tiny tents to big motorhomes. Facilities kept spotlessly clean.

Disliked: Shop is located at the entrance to the site which is at the bottom of an incredibly steep road - not easy to walk down! It would be better to locate it in the building where the bar is, close to all the other facilities. The most expensive site we’ve stayed in this trip.

Disliked: La distancia que había hasta el baño quizá podría haber otro sitio adicional. Había que pagar en cash el alargador y un día al no tener no tuvimos electricidad

Liked: Me encantó la ubicación, nos dieron una parcela justo en el "barranquillo" con unas vistas al mar en las que se veía el atardecer de forma maravillosa. Los baños están un poco distanciados pero la limpieza continua hace que estén limpios y disponibles todo el rato. Camping con un ambiente muy familiar. Muy tranquilo y con buena relación entre vecinos. Tiene acceso directo a la playa, cosa que es un lujo tremendo.

Disliked: El bar/restaurante del camping suele estar desbordado por los pocos empleados para atender y servir. Una pena porque hizo que nos fuéramos un par de veces sin consumir y en otra no quisieron atendernos por cierre de cocina a pesar de estar allí ya sentados más de 45 minutos.

Local attractions

The east of Asturias is known for its tiny old-fashioned villages, its cliffs and its beaches, so get in the car or hire a scooter and get to its small caves, coves and sandy beaches. Nudist beaches are also available nearby for those who don't like returning home with tell-tale tan lines. Stacks of other top Spanish attractions and activities are within easy driving distance here too. Give your hiking boots or mountain bike a good workout on the hilly trails of the Picos de Europa National Park (an hour away), or take a more gentle wander around the very viewsome town of San Vicente de la Barquera (15 minutes' drive). Sticking to the scenic coastline, it's worth meandering through the medieval centre of Llanes (15 minutes) before flopping on one of its sandy beaches, or taking in the prehistoric daubings at Ribadesella's Rock Art Center of Tito Bustillo (half an hour) before… sí, more beach flopping. Foodies (and wine-ies) will also find this area fabulous: there's loads to taste, but suggestions to start off with include the local stews, rice puddings, saffron and cheese, all washed down with a flagon of the region's famed cider.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Dogs

Dogs are required to wear a muzzle.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Safety

Open fires are prohibited.

General

Quiet hours must be respected between midnight and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. between 22/03 and 12/10.

The bar and/or restaurant is open between 31/03 et 12/10.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

The grocery shop is open between 31/03 et 12/10.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
