Liked: Beautiful beachfront location. Easy walk to local town. Nice on-site bar. Very clean sanitary facilities.

Liked: Camping a due passi da una bellissima spiaggia libera di micro sassolini e un mare meraviglioso. Ho soggiornato in una mobilehome, estremamente pulita e letti comodi. Attrezzatura della cucina essenziale (solo 4 bicchieri e nessuna tazza per esempio) Campeggio tranquillo, piazzole molto spaziose. Animazione assente forse perché la maggior parte degli ospiti era composta da scolaresche di adolescenti tedeschi che avevano animazione dedicata. Staff cordiale. Unico pecca: non avevano asciugamani da noleggiare nonostante fosse espresso chiaramente sul sito, per cui lo.ho dovuti comprare al decathlon lì vicino. Novità inaspettata: supermercato chiuso per la stagione 2024...peccato sarebbe stato utile saperlo prima. Il campeggio è comunque molto vicino al paese e alle attività commerciali. Struttura pet friendly

Liked: La parcela era amplia y estaba muy limpia La gente de recepción muy amable

Disliked: Los wc estavan muy sucios, solo fuimos para una noche y preferi no ducharme a ducharme alli. El servicio de restaurante fatal, no te hacen un bocadillo porque tienen que limpiar la terraza, y hay cuatro personas y para atenderte tardan mucho.

Liked: Close proximity to the beach and good bathroom and shower facilities

Disliked: This is a loud campsite, normally not a problem but the bar music was so loud until late made it difficult to sleep. Electric hook up was very temperamental. In fact the electric point was on our pitch supplying at least 10 other pitches. Other people would just walk on to our pitch to get the electric. We were placed next to an area of stagnant water which smelt terrible.

Liked: Nous avons super bien été accueilli, l'emplacement correspondait à notre attente. Il est vraiment face à la plage. Centre ville à proximité, ainsi qu'une zone commerciale où l'on y trouve son bonheur.

Disliked: Dommage qu'il n'y est pas au moins une piscine pour les petits.

Local attractions

There’s lots to keep active families occupied around Platja d’Aro. There are a couple of tennis clubs within 10 minutes’ walk, Skatepark Platja d’Aro (15 minutes) for skateboarders, and rope courses or zipwires at Costa Brava Parc Aventura Platja d’Aro (five minutes’ drive). Teach the kids the basics of golf at Pitch and Putt Mas Torrellas (10 minutes) or while away the afternoon on the thrill rides at Pp’s Park Platja d’Aro (15 minutes’ walk). To see a little more of the region, rent a motorboat from the marina (five minutes) to explore beaches and hidden coves up and down the Mediterranean coastline. Should you feel the need to stir from beachfront Platja d’Aro altogether, head to historic Girona (40 minutes’ drive) to explore the labyrinthine El Call quarter, walk the ramparts for views of the cathedral and spot the city's Game of Thrones locations. Alternatively, spend the day in Barcelona (an hour and 15 minutes) to watch the street theatre on Las Ramblas, graze your way around the tapas bars of La Boqueria food market and tour Antoni Gaudí’s extraordinary Sagrada Família cathedral.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 31/08.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Hired accommodation

No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.

Pitches: a €20,00 (R408,09) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys
