Alqueva Rural Camping Resort is located 20 kilometres south of the Alqueva lake dam and 20 kilometres north of Beja. It's exactly 700 meters from the dam of the Guadiana in Pedrogão of Alentejo and the same distance from the Riverside Village of Pedrogão of Alentejo.
This is a family-run business and an eco-friendly campsite using solar energy. The campsite offers a peaceful setting to take a walk, relax or ride bicycles along the cycle paths.
There's a livestock production, and within the family rural household, you will find a private animal park to delight both adults and children. There, guests can see llamas, deer, horses, donkeys, ponies, goats, sheep and various farmyard animals. Bring the carrots and feed the animals.
