Vakantiepark De Luttenberg

Bringing or hiring bikes is a good idea for getting around – Luttenberg is on a cycle path, and there are plenty more trails in the surrounding Hellendoornseberg, Heath and Luttenberg areas. If you’d rather walk, the Pieterpad long-distance walking route passes the town and there are some great trails in Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park (10 minutes’ drive/20 minutes’ cycle). For days out that are likely to find favour with the family, take the kids for laser games, pirate adventures and log flumes at Hellendoorn Adventure Park (10 minutes' drive) or plan a full day out among the rides, shows and waterpark activities of Slagharen theme park (half an hour). You’re likely to spot some native wildlife on local bike rides, but for something more exotic, pay a visit to Apenheul primate park (45 minutes) or explore the many different habitats of Burgers' Zoo (50 minutes).
