Take your Tuscan trip to new heights with a stay 300 metres above sea level and next to a spacious swimming pool at family-friendly Luxor Chianti Village in Castellina, 20 minutes’ drive from the spectacular architecture of Siena. Guests hurtle around a handful of hairpin bends to reach this site set on a hectare’s worth of grassy green land surrounded by oak trees and typically Tuscan brushwood. It has ample room for spreading out on the grounds as well as cosy amenities like the trattoria-style Trasqua restaurant near the adults’ pool for gourmet cuisine once your belly starts rumbling. There’s free wifi at this eatery, as well as in its bar area, for researching trips to some of Tuscany’s top-ranking towns and cities, like Monteriggioni (15 minutes), Colle di Val d'Elsa (20 minutes), San Gimignano (40 minutes) and Florence (an hour), while tasting Chianti wine from the site’s cellar. If the kids won’t sit still as you sip, tire them out with a couple of hours in the playground, which has a paddling pool as well as the usual equipment. Pets are permitted at this park, so you really can bring the whole clan along on your tour of Tuscany, and barbecue areas are on hand for grilling grub. Liked L’espace piscine avec bar , restaurant , jeux pour enfants. Le calme au milieu des arbres et des champs de vigne. Personnel très sympathique. On peut choisir son emplacement.

Disliked Personne à la réception à notre arrivée , il faut aller au restaurant. Sanitaires propres , douches un peu anciennes et une petite odeur de fosse sceptique près des sanitaires.

Disliked Road leading up to the camping was very very uneven - lots of holes. My poor, small car has been damaged by it quite a bit. But I guess for Campers and Vans not a problem.

Liked Il camping e la gentilezza delle ragazze alla reception

Disliked Com'è stato gestito il "pacchetto" della cena del ferragosto, attesa di un ora e mezza tra una portata e l altra, richiesta di spostarci dal tavolo perché eravamo stati messi sotto ad un faro ed avevamo tutti gli insetti nel piatto( ok la natura ma si può anche mangiare fuori senza animali nel piatto). Il sabato avevo chiesto una pizza ci è stato risposto che il forno era rotto, peccato che quando siamo tornati a comprare delle bottiglie d acqua, la gente al tavolo aveva la pizza. Il pomeriggio ho chiesto e specificato che volevo 1aperipasqua detto più volte ma hanno portato la razione doppia ma avevo già intuito perché il "barista" ha fatto l ambiguo( e da nessuna parte risulta scritto che deve essere X2) nonostante questo fraintendimento ho pagato 30€ senza storie,visto che a quanto pare avevano bisogno dei 15€ in più miei ...

Liked Hele fijne rustige camping. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Voldoende activiteiten mogelijk, maar zeker niet overlast gevend.

Disliked Douches kunnen upgrade gebruiken, zijn wel schoon. Elektriciteit werkt wel maar is niet optimaal. Zeker in de piek is er merkbaar te weinig spanning. (Dimmende lampen)
