Liked: Camping tranquillo, non affollato. Le piazzole abbastanza grandi, ben servite con acqua e luce. Tutto ben curato e piscina pulita. Acqua potabile in tutto il camping. Bagni sempre puliti e ben serviti. Personale disponibile. Acqua calda inclusa. Nonostante le piazzole non fossero ombreggiati, sono stati gentili nel posizionarci in una piazzola con un po' più di ombra. Il prezzo è competitivo.

Disliked: Essendo vicino alla strada, durante la notte si sentono le auto e moto che sfrecciano, quindi un po' rumoroso. Probabilmente ci sarà un canile attaccato perché dalle 6 di mattina tutti i cani iniziano ad abbaiare ininterrottamente ovviamente svegliando tutti. I prezzi incongruenti tra il sito pitchup e quelli esposti appena arrivi. Esempio sul sito il posto auto è gratuito mentre volevano farci pagare 8 eur a fine vacanza, hanno preteso che gli facessi vedere la dicitura del sito per non farmeli pagare (fortunatamente su pitchup era abbastanza chiaro). Idem per la piscina, su pitchup il costo è di 2 eur a persona, ma li ci hanno fatto pagare 3 eur a persona. Nonostante gli abbiamo fatto vedere la dicitura del sito non hanno voluto sentire ragioni e ci hanno fatto pagare 3 euro. Le piazzole non sono ombreggiate e durante il giorno si è sempre esposti al sole, anche se sono stati gentili a trovarci una soluzione più ombreggiata.

Disliked: The pitches are a bit on the small size for a 4 person family tent so your car needs to be left in the car park area.

Liked: Unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst. Wir haben einen tollen Platz erhalten. Die Anlage war sehr sauber. Der Spielplatz war auch schön. Aussicht auf den Ätna - top!

Disliked: Die Einfahrt von unten war für uns mit 12.5 Meter (Wohnwagen & Auto) sehr eng. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns sofort geholfen. Von der anderen Richtung wäre es besser gegangen.

Local attractions

Did you really think you were going to come to Sicily without scaling Mount Etna once or twice? It's a 25-minute drive up to the trailhead followed by a difficult but rewarding hike. If you're in any doubt about your mountaineering abilities or want to know more about the geology and landscape, you can book with an authorised Alpine guide at reception or take the cable car and sail up to the summit instead. There are also lots of more moderate trails that follow old lava flows that are accessible straight from the site (ask at reception). The historic city of Catania (30 minutes) is within your grasp too if you're after something more urban. The coastal Aci Castello and Aci Trezza areas are particularly recommended and come with spectacular views over faraglioni – dramatic offshore rocks eroded by the waves into tottering stone towers. After trotting about on the coast, turn to the area's pile of kid-friendly attractions to keep little guests in good spirits – there's Acquapark (25 minutes), a wet and wild waterpark with lots of scope for splashing, and Etnaland (20 minutes), a theme park that can be easily reached via the site's end-to-end shuttle service.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 30 consecutive nights.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

No cars/motorcycles at the site. All cars must be parked in the designated area.

Only park guests are authorized to use the pool.

Pitches: access to the swimming pool is not included in the rate and is charged €2,00 (R40,21) per person per half day.

Protective masks must be worn at all times in common areas.

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 15/06 et 15/09 (subject to weather conditions).
