In the foothills of a densely wooded mountain in the Sorrento Peninsula of southern Italy, La Divina is a small, peaceful site that welcomes families, motorcyclists and campervan drivers (and their canine companions) to shaded surroundings with expansive forest views. The site occupies a privileged spot for those wanting to explore the Campania region, and especially the Amalfi Coast. So whether you’re after spectacular sheltered beaches like Maiori (25 minutes’ drive) or Atrani (half an hour); keen to hike coastal trails with splendid sea views like the Lemon Path (which links Maiori and Minori) or the more challenging (and at times pretty vertiginous) Path of the Gods (an hour); or wishing to see the latest discoveries at the Archaeological Park of Pompeii (35 minutes), you can cover it all with a series of day trips. Amalfi itself is 35 minutes’ drive away, while Ravello can be reached in about 15 minutes. The accommodation deal at La Divina is further sweetened by the on-site scooter rental, which makes it easy to access the coastal resorts without having to worry too much about traffic and parking. The designated picnic area has a barbecue station, but Campania is one of Italy’s famed gastronomic regions, so you might prefer to check out the restaurants in the nearby village of Pietre (five minutes). Also on site are a toilet, a hot-water shower, a washing machine and a washing-up area.

Quiet, friendly campsite with helpful owners making their own wine and beer. Guests loved the clean, excellent bathrooms. Shops aren't close due to the elevated location, and some heard road noise. Great base for Amalfi Coast exploring with public transport.

Egal welches Problem oder Frage man hatte, wir bekamen immer Hilfe.
Die Bäder waren immer sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.
Produkte aus eigener Produktion haben wir natürlich auch gekauft.
Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe waren mit unserem Motorroller gut zu erreichen.

Liked Really nice small site for campers and motorhomes. Lovely clean bathrooms and the showers are excellent.
Owner really helpful. He helps you park up and he makes his own wine and beer which can be bought very cheaply.
The white wine was delicious.
Washing machine available and hanging area with pegs to dry your clothes.
Bar and pizzeria to walk to nearby.
Be mindful on arrival the entrance is steep and narrow. Too sharp a right turn. Drive into a field opposite and call the owner who is really helpful at stopping the traffic and helping you in .
Very handy for getting around to see the sights of the Amalfi coast. We have a scooter so was great for us. Even drove to Pompeii from there.

Liked Incredibly friendly and helpful couple who run this small site from their home. They are on hand and happy to help with information, bus tickets and more!
The bathrooms and showers are in excellent condition and kept very clean, such a treat to have a proper bathroom when camping! A lot of the spots have shade for part of the day and due to the small number of spots it doesn’t get too busy. It was easy to get the bus into Maiori (although the bus takes about 50 mins as it winds its way through the hills )and then further into the amalfi coast via bus or ferry. We extended our stay as we loved this place so much. Excellent value for money and we would definitely return.
