The name takes its inspiration from the Greek name for the sun, and Heliopolis Camping & Village is certainly a place where you can make the most of those magical summer days. Less than five minutes' walk from the beach of Pineto and the Adriatic Sea, this site in Italy’s Abruzzo has the magic knack of combining peace and nature with a metropolitan spread of family-friendly stuff. A day at Heliopolis Camping & Village might start with ambling over to the restaurant for coffee and croissants, or picking up supplies for the day at the mini-market. Maybe you’ll be hiring bikes from the site to explore the coastal path or taking it easy by hitting the beach. There are activities laid on for kids throughout the summer, and when they’re not busy with their new best friends, they’ll be clambering about at the playground or battling it out on the table football and ping-pong tables. Liked Great staff,polite and helpful, stones throw from beach,nice beach with beach lifeguard, free chairs ,shade ..entertainment on beach

Disliked Sat nav longitude/ latitude will try to put you under a very low bridge, phoned site they said go via,,,VIA SILONE which is a road, turn right at bottom, which takes you straight to site..showers dated but clean and hot..WiFi no good.

Liked Siamo stati bene abbiamo passato un soggiorno piacevole, il bagno privato è una soluzione molto apprezzata anche con il camper, l'unico disagio è una navetta che collega pineto al campeggio sarebbe il top, cosi da visitare con i mezzi pubblici anche i comuni limitrofi per chi non è motorizzato (con un secondo mezzo) e impossibilitato a pedalare.

Liked Eine eigener Sanitärbereich war das Highlight. Die kleine Küchenzeile auch. Direkt am Platz alles abwaschen war super. Auch nicht zu vergessen das wichtigste der kurze weg zum super schönen Strand.

Disliked Im Restaurant kann man nur nach Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Spontan war dann leider nicht möglich. Wir haben aber das essen dann zum Mitnehmen erhalten.
