Domaine de Sévenier is set in an old converted vineyard house. Here you will find peace and enjoy the charm of the traditional buildings, the stonewalls coloured by flowers, a good wine cellar and a restaurant serving delicious regional meals. During the day, climb the top of our hill to see the fantastic view over the Ardèche garrigue, with its unique type of vegetation composed of oak trees, junipers, thyme and rosemary and inhabited with cicadas. In the evenings, look out for grasshoppers. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, Domaine de Sévenier offers a traditional approach to family holidays. With a 'Zen' philosophy and a large swimming pool to dip in to, and only five minutes from the main attractions of Ardèche, such as a river canyon and the famous Pont d’Arc, this is a fun and relaxing campsite for all.

Local attractions

The campsite is only 4km from Vallon Pont d’Arc and the entrance of the famous canyon Gorges de l'Ardèche. We are 800m away from the village of Lagorce, with its botanic walk and silk culture museum. The Ardèche has many attractions including plenty of mouthwatering food and drink and delicious local wines, charcuterie, caillettes, goat cheese, chestnut spread (oh la la, the list goes on!), cultural hotspots (like the museum of the Camisards, who once revolted under Louis XIV), prehistoric caves, and lots to see and do to find about the area's industrial past and silk culture. Active guests will not have to worry either: hiking, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, quad biking can be practised all around.
