Electric optional hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Quiet campsite, very well looked after. Friendly reception and cafe staff, showers and toilets were very clean and looked quite new. Lovely trees all around.
Disliked: We are at the end of the season but the snack bar didn’t have a great choice. But that could be as it is the quiet time.

From the manager: Thank you for your comment. Yes, the snack bar didn't have a great choice as we closed it a few days later.
Wouldn't recommend staying for long.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Cold beer
Disliked: Small pool, lack of sun loungers for amount of people on site given not really anywhere else to go offsite. Toilets and showers dirty. Motorhome/vans situated at the rear overlooking the estuary and what looked like a chemical plant. After spending one night listening to the humming from the plant across the estuary we left early.

From the manager: The sanitary facilities are cleaned twice a day (early morning and mid-afternoon) in high season, so we are surprised by your comment, which is at odds with the other feedback on cleanliness. The factory on the other side of the Loire (3km away) is a refinery. I agree that there is a lot of noise (and boats too). Your note is not objective on the wifi and the facilities/activities as wifi is free throughout the snack/bar area, there is none on the pitches to avoid negative waves.... much more harmful than a refinery 3km away and we offer entertainment/activities every day in high season (musical evening, pétanque, bingo, karaoke) but as you only stayed one night, you couldn't have noticed.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Arrived at the site via the St Nazaire bridge. Reception felt rushed and staff a little prickly especially after a long drive. Setup was simple apart from the electrical issue. The pitch is on the banks of the Loire at the bottom of the site. Opposite our pitch was a petrol refinery which added an interesting twist. Wi-Fi at clubhouse and bar area great for people needing their techno fix. Food from bar was really nice. Swimming pool was clean and a welcome relief to the warm temperature. Clean up to date facilities and lovely powerful showers.
Disliked: Chaotic pitch setup seemed like site not very well thought out. After searching across the lower site we found no electrical spare outlet for us even though we had booked and paid extra for one. Luckily, we were saved by another motor homer who shared a supply with us.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind feedback, even if we don't quite understand the term "clubhouse". You're right about the electric terminals, we need to review the configuration because when there are a lot of tourists, we're undersized.
Quiet but, sloping site, nice pool.

Electric optional gravel and sand pitch
Liked: Quiet shaded setting among pine trees. Clean facilities, nice covered pool area, kiddies club but no English spoken for little ones. Lots to do in the area for all ages. Pitches are very large but, not well defined. Although some issues, we enjoyed our stay here. Owners were helpful getting us more cables as the pitches we were on were a good distance from the electric hook up.
Disliked: Level Pitches are reserved for motorhomes only, no caravans. Caravans and tents are among the pine trees on very sloping site so you have to be really good at manoeuvring your caravan onto the pitch. Make sure you have at least 25m hook up cable as one electric point serves around 6 to 8 pitches. Evening entertainment can be very loud and finishes quite late especially the karaoke once a week. The site is secure and the barrier locks at around 11.00 so if you're late back your car has to stay in the small car park at the front of property which is not secure. At the end of your holiday if you are planning on leaving early make sure you hand in your key fob for the barrier the night before as reception doesn't open till 9.00am for you to get your €20 deposit back. Looking at aerial pics of the site it seems that a lot of touring pitches have been given over to holiday lodges. Definitely not ideal for caravans.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We took over the management of the campsite last year and we are aware that some pitches need to be redesigned (levelling out and rewiring). This is one of our objectives for next year. The entertainment ends at 11am so as not to disturb the peace and quiet (and is quite far from the pitches). Like many campsites, the gate doesn't open at 11pm (again, to ensure peace and quiet) and the car park at the entrance is under video surveillance. You could come as early as 8am to the snack bar to hand in your deposit and finally we have 80 bare pitches for tents and caravans which is quite a lot compared to other campsites nearby.

Electric optional gravel and sand pitch
Liked: Pool and size of the assigned pitch place
Disliked: Very near to the Oil refinery on the other side of the Loire. Maybe not a problem in a van, but in a tent you hear the loud brumming noise each night. Would only recommend it for cyclists only staying a night (the have cool mini cabins) or camper vans/RVs. Toilet paper often not filled up. Super friendly and helpful staff.

From the manager: We're 2.5 kilometres from the oil refinery on the other side of the Loire. Yes, sometimes we do hear some background noise, but as the wind is blowing from the west, we don't experience any discomfort.

Liked: Facilities great had a nice view of the estuary albeit with the oil refinery. Town is a little tired and run down no doubt down to the massive supermarket that is near by.
Disliked: Public transport links not the best. Service during peak really struggled
