Brittany beach, anyone? Oui, oui and yet another oui – and why not make it Morbihan and windsurfing too? Sort a stay forthwith at Camping La Ferme de Lann Hoëdic, less than a kilometre from the windsurfing beach of Le Roaliguen, in a green and spacious countryside setting surrounded by hiking and cycling trails. The staff's aim of the game here is to provide a place where guests can have a comfy stay on a friendly site without the noise of busy bars and pools. Have a peaceful time by hiring a bike from the team and pedalling off to explore the grounds and the local cycling paths: one leads directly to the beach via a shaded forest trail. La Ferme de Lann Hoëdic is on the Rhuys peninsula, between the Atlantic coast and the town of Sarzeau two and a half kilometres away. It's 800 metres from the beach and its associated sailing school, and a short drive from Aquagolfe waterpark, Penvins aerial adventure park, and sea kayaking at Kerners and Logeo. Carnac is less than 50 minutes' drive away. A mini farm is on site to entertain the kids, along with a pétanque court and a big play area with giant jumping pillow (the wooden tractor on site will surely amuse small sorts too). Grownups can sink into sessions at the spa or settle down for a massage, all the better to be good as new for a spot of windsurfing or a bike tour the next day…

Liked: Nice layout of site ie the reception restaurant and toilet blocks. Good proximity to the local beach. Good to have food vans each night as traveller by foot super u was 25 min walk into Sarzeau.

Disliked: Nothing comes to mind good all site.

Liked: Was easy to book with a good selection of pitches and prices. Loved the restaurant on site great food and so glad the staff talked a bit of English. Great bread selection for breakfast. Beautiful seating outside for a drink or food at the restaurant. Friendly staff very helpful. Great site for children with a fab park but not like some where it’s to much and to noisy.

Disliked: If raining bathrooms got very muddy. Needs to be cleaned more often. Also take your own toilet paper and soap none available

Liked: Wunderbar...einfach wunderbar....hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl....eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung und eine tolle grüne Anlage mit schattigen Plätzen...wir wären gern länger geblieben.

Disliked: Kein Licht im Toilettentrakt ...auch das Abeaschen im Dunkeln war etwas befremdlich 🤷‍♀️

Liked: Such a beautiful campsite, perfect location and facilities were great. Also the lady at reception was so welcoming and helpful (I wish we’d asked for her name as she was amazing). Thank you for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 😊

Liked: La localisation, le patrimoine à visiter .

Disliked: L accueil me conseil de ne pas valider mon séjour sur le site pitchub sinon je paye 15 % plus cher. Alors cela signifierai que Pitchub m arnaque???!!!Mieux appeler directement le camping . Pas de wifi, payante dès 15minutes

Liked: The site is well run, quiet and pitches have sun and shade. The facilities are clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lovely to be able to get bread and croissants from the shop on site. Cafe reasonably priced, good galettes. Convenient for many cycle routes and close to the beach.

Liked: lovely clean well looked after site and very friendly English speaking staff. Fresh baguettes and croissant every day to order was great. Restaurant on site with a small menu but what was served was very nice. We even had a guitarist/singer for entertainment which was mostly in English and everybody joined in and had a great night. Easy cycling to the beautiful Suscinio chateaux and lovely place to have a lunch at the restaurant nearby.

Local attractions

This is a beaut part of Brittany to get out onto the sea from: bag a session of sea kayaking from either Kerners and Logeo, both four kilometres away, or drive 15 minutes or so to the top tip of the peninsula for guided boat tours around the Gulf of Morbihan. On land, one of the most famed sights on the peninsula is the Château de Suscinio, a 14th-century castle that was home during the Wars of the Roses to the future English Henry 7. Guided tours of the château are available in English during the summer months. For family fun and highly amusing days, have a splash around the Aquagolfe waterpark, 20 minutes' drive from the site at Surzur. There's also the Celt'Aventures aerial adventure park of Penvins, within 15 minutes' drive, where the brave can take forest and treetop trails among fairies, elves and druids. The Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys golf course is 15 minutes' drive away.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
