What customers say

Well-kept, peaceful campsite, loved for spacious pitches & beach access. Friendly owners, great facilities incl. heated pool. Peak times mean queues for loos/showers, bring own TP. Tranquil with lovely nature.

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked What a great camp site! From a warm welcome upon arrival through the 5 nights on site, we enjoyed the site tremendously. Level private pitches, excellent electric hook up (no issues with power), basic but always very clean shower/toilet block/wash up area. Quiet during our stay (kids were back at school) and mainly older campers. 500m to the beach which has a great walk/bike board walk if you want to stroll to the nearby towns or plenty of access through the dunes to the beaches - decent rollers and breakers when we stayed and looks like a great venue for kite/wind surfers. A quality crêperie was on site on Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm which was very popular but worth the wait! The onsite pool looked well maintained and even a sauna which you can pay to use. Plenty of amenities close by for a short car/van journey if you need supplies.

Disliked Little to dislike at this site - remember to take your own toilet roll as per the usual French way but that isn’t a dislike.

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked Love this place this is our second visit and no doubt we will return
The site itself is well maintained, toilets and showers are spotless and pitches are a good size and very private due to the hedges that separate them, there is a covered swimming pool and bathing area. Baguette's and croissants are available at request, situated just 10 min walk from a beautiful beach ideal for dog walking and cycling..
The owner speaks some English which was also very helpful when your French isn’t great

Disliked Only thing i would say is make sure you take your loo roll to the toilets as none is provided

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked Great site 10 minute walk along a quiet lane to a wide sandy beach. Plenty of shade and large pitches providing privacy.

Disliked Shower block and toilets are unisex. Also no toilet paper provided - reminded me of camping in France 30 years ago!

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked We arrive about 12noon (arrivals are from 12) and whilst reception was closed at that time, they leave your pitch details on the door, so we were able to settle in.
The pitches themselves all look pretty flat but some are closer together than others.
The site was lovely and quiet in the evenings, even though it was fully booked during our stay.
Due to the time of year though, the demand on the toilets and showers often exceeded supply and we had to queue for the loo and showers a few times.

The toilets and showers (both unisex) are cleaned daily. Water was always nice and hot.

There is a daily bread/pastry delivery, but make sure you add your name to the list by the specified time.

In the height of summer they have visiting good vans(Mon, Tues, Thurs I think) - 1) mussels/frites, 2) burger style van 3) crepes (these were lovely, but be prepared for a wait -he's popular).

There's mention of a shop (in reception) but I wouldn't recommend relying on this for your essentials - make sure to stock up before you get there! (It's also only open during reception hours, so you're out of luck if you wanted an ice cream between about 10.30 and 16.00!)

The location is great - about 10mins walk is one of the loveliest beaches I've been to. Sandy, clear water and really big. Even on a weekend in August it didn't feel overcrowded!

Disliked Queuing for the toilet (although this was in August, when the site was fully booked)

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked Very clean site, we had a nice big partly shaded pitch, friendly staff, short walk to a clean, white sandy beach. Facilities kept clean throughout the day. Lovely nature reserve for bird watching near beach. Good location for visiting other areas, like Guilvinec fishing harbour (went there several times to watch trawlers bring in their fish). Lovely town. Nice Sunday market there too.

Disliked At first we disliked the fact there were no toilet rolls provided and that the facilities were shared between females and males, but after a day or 2, we soon got used to it. It wasn't a big issue at all.

Local attractions

Should you ever want to leave this leafy little haven, it’s easy to follow a footpath down to the expansive sandy dunes of Skividen beach (10 minutes’ walk), where you can hike the coastal trail between Guilvinec (40 minutes) and Plobannalec-Lesconil (45 minutes). To explore southern Finistère on foot or on bikes, the Grande Randonnée 34 long-distance trail snakes along the Brittany coastline, leading to dramatic cliffs, peaceful bays for swimming and sandy beaches. The area is also a hotspot for watersports including surfing and kite surfing at Pointe de la Torche (20 minutes’ drive), or you can spend an afternoon trotting along the sands at Skividen on horseback (five minutes). Angling is another favourite local pursuit, so why not take a deep-sea fishing boat out on the Atlantic waves to try your hand at catching sea bass and bream? Other fishy pursuits include guided tours of the fish market at Haliotika (10 minutes), and you can watch the local trawlers come into harbour with their daily catch at Guilvinec. Inland, artisan markets turn up tasty Breton souvenirs like cider, sea salt and canned sardines. Ask at reception for a current schedule of local markets.
