Liked Lovely campsite with large pitches. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Decent onsite shop with all the basics.

Disliked Shocking lack of humanity.

Due to unexpectedly severe traffic, we arrived at 20:50 (50 minutes after reception closure). Very unfortunate, but we knew that the main gate didn't close until 11 PM and the host lives on-site, so we never could have expected what happened next.

We were met with aggression. The host kicked us out of the campsite in an incredibly emotional and rude manner, fully aware that we had three small children in the car, hungry and exhausted by the long drive, with absolutely nowhere else to go in the late evening.

Nous accueillons nos clients tous les jours de 9h à 20h toute l’année. Lorsqu’ils nous préviennent par téléphone d’un éventuel retard (avant notre fermeture à 20h), nous leur indiquons comment récupérer un badge et s’installer seuls sur notre camping (jusqu’à 23h maximum).
Vous êtes arrivés à 21h sans prévenir, et avez franchi notre barrière de sécurité seul à pied, pour vous installer sans aucune autorisation ni aucun enregistrement.
De notre côté, nous étions en train de coucher nos enfants, eux aussi en bas âge, lorsque notre vidéo de surveillance nous a informé que quelqu’un essayait de pénétrer sur notre camping sans s’être signalé.
Était-ce un voleur ? Une personne malveillante ? Je peux vous préciser que vous nous avez fait peur.

Pour faire court, effectivement, l’employée qui a dû intervenir n’est tout autre que moi, la propriétaire du camping, et je vous ai bien évidemment demandé de partir après avoir constaté votre effraction, et oui, y en a marre des clients comme vous qui se croient tout permis.
Il est interdit de pénétrer sur un camping si on arrive une heure après sa fermeture sans en avoir prévenu les propriétaires, surtout quand on a des enfants en bas âge.

Remettez-vous en question.

Thank you for your feedback, even if it's mixed.

I just want to clarify that there must have been a misunderstanding, as we do have a bar, open every day, all year round (like the reception and the grocery store), from 5 PM to 8 PM. The drinks for sale are listed at reception and in the restrooms as well.

I'm sorry you didn't see it!

Alternatively, less than 10 minutes from the campsite, there's also Joana's shop, which has a bar.

Regarding the Wi-Fi, it's true that it's only available at reception and in the immediate vicinity, not throughout the entire campsite.

In any case, we wish you a wonderful holiday now that the weather is nice.

Liked Camping à retenir pour l'accueil aimable et sympathique des propriétaires et des résidents qui ont été très serviables.
Emplacement spacieux et sanitaires propres.
Séjour reposant.
Un plus, boulangerie accessible à pied et autres petits commerces.
Une boucherie et traiteur itinérante se déplace 2 fois par semaine sur le camping.
Une petite épicerie est présente au niveau de l'accueil.
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Disliked Cependant, si une amélioration devait être faite, ce serait un point d'eau dans la mesure du possible pour chaque carré d'emplacements comme c'est déjà le cas pour l'électricité.

Liked Good size pitches and easy to access even with a twin axle 8m long caravan. The washroom block well maintained and clean and in the centre of the pitches. Used as a half way stop to/from south of France. Perfect for that. Staff very helpful.

Disliked It’s on a slope and the pitches are not level. Even with wheel chock full depth still not level. Could do with raising up one side between pitches to help level outfit.
