- Small and quiet family-friendly site at Lucenay-l’Évêquein in Burgundy
- Autun 20 minutes’ drive and Burgundy vineyards within half an hour
- Swimming pool, tennis court, play area and fishing on the Ternin river
A small-scale, family-friendly site in the sleepy village of Lucenay-l’Évêque, Camping du Ternin sits in peaceful Burgundy countryside on the edge of Morvan Regional Natural Park. Surrounded by forested hills planted with fir trees and bordering the Ternin river, this site is a quiet spot with grass pitches divided by hedges in neatly landscaped, partially shaded grounds.
There are only a handful of pitches, so the vibe is very much low-key and chilled. Basic but modern practical amenities include hot showers and electric hook-ups, while there is a swimming pool, tennis court and football field to keep the kids entertained, and you can cast a few lines for brown trout in the Ternin. Your pets are welcome too, and there are walks in the adjacent countryside for them (and you) to get lots of exercise.
Guests can enjoy hiking and cycling around Morvan or go wine-tasting in Burgundy vineyards – perhaps buy a couple of bottles to drink with your barbecue? And if you’re not into outdoor cooking, simply make the five minutes’ walk into the centre of Lucenay-l’Évêque, where several bistros await.
