  • Exclusive-use Pembrokeshire glampsite for groups of family or friends
  • A 10-minute drive to Haverfordwest; 20 minutes to Broad Haven Beach
  • Private glamping kitchen, shower in a converted horsebox, nature pond
If you’re after a private catch up with family or friends in total rural seclusion, you’ve arrived at the right place. Pond and Paddock Pembrokeshire Glamping offers an exclusive experience where you can have the whole site to yourselves. This Pembrokeshire spot near Haverfordwest offers bell tents sleeping up to six; ideal for anyone wanting a group holiday in glorious countryside. So what is this place all about? A sunny pitch bordered by fields and trees. Two bell tents kitted out in distinctive style, each with a double and day bed. All bed linen provided (just bring towels). Lots of storage for all your gear, and an indoor seating area with a table, plus solar lights to pretty the tents up after dark. But there's more: a short walk away is a covered glamping kitchen with all you need to magic up simple meals, plus a dinky converted horsebox hiding a gas-powered shower and a toilet. And when the weather is nice and warm, you can spark up the firepit and enjoy alfresco barbecues in your private garden area. Wandering around this peaceful rural site, you’ll spot the remains of lime kilns, plenty of birds and other animal life, and myriad wild flowers around the nature pond (which is fenced off for safety reasons). The glamping field also links to a footpath along the River Cleddau leading to Haverfordwest.

Local attractions

Once you’ve all caught up with each other’s news, it’s time to get out and about in gorgeous Pembrokeshire. But where to start? The county town of Haverfordwest (10 minutes’ drive) of course, for its medieval castle, heritage museum and Augustinian priory. Too much history? Have a stroll down the Cleddau riverside instead. The sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (15 minutes) may also be on your Welsh bucket list; relatively quiet Broad Haven Beach (20 minutes) is scattered with bizarre rock formations, while popular Poppit Sands (55 minutes) has safe swimming backed by rolling dunes. And don’t forget that the park also offers almost endless options for walking along the coast or in the mountains inland. Kids on board for the holiday? Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (half an hour) has keeper talks, meet-the-animal sessions and fairground rides, or for a day of fun in the fresh air, there are daring water slides at Oakwood Theme Park (25 minutes). Faced with a rainy day? Time for a session at Hangar 5 Trampoline Park (15 minutes), or a movie at the Palace Cinema in Haverfordwest.
