Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Absolutely loved this campsite from the moment we arrived it was perfect, including the weather! I won’t list all facilities as there’s plenty reviews with them on, but will say they were all immaculate and well presented. The pitch sizes were generous and the site was civilised, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We took our tent and had a great non electric pitch. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The whole site is a credit to them and they deserve the high recognition, the grounds are well kept and there’s even a little dog walk around a little meadow, it’s obvious there is a need for campsites like this one, where you don’t feel like you’ve been crammed in for the owner to get the maximum income and because you’re in a tent you get the spare bit, this is quite the opposite. And we look forward to returning!

Disliked: Nothing….everything was perfect!

Liked: A warm welcome awaits. The Paddocks is a friendly, beautifully run, spotlessly clean site in a lovely location. Lots of little extras: communal area with picnic bench, toaster, iced water, fridge. Washing up facilities included washing up liquid and sponges and was spotlessly clean. Love the wild flower area!

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Absolutely immaculate site , with lovely owners. The toilet and showers were clean and fresh at all times of the day. Communal area was nice. Milk and fresh eggs to buy, also noticed little tea and coffee packs you could purchase. Perfect spot to enjoy the area. Unfortunately the local pub is currently not serving food so had to travel out for a meal but that was fine. Will definitely return to this site and recommend to friends.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Fantastic site with great facilities and very well maintained. Owners were friendly and welcoming and keen for us to enjoy our stay on their site. It seems they've thought of everything the weary camper might need with lots of extras you don't necessarily expect to see on a campsite. We stayed there overnight on a tent pitch while riding the lon las Cymru.

Liked: Lovely quiet adult only site, clean amenities and the site owner was on hand to answer all our questions on arrival.

Disliked: Unfortunately there didn’t appear to be a motorhome service point but it in no way detracted from our stay.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Fantastic campsite! We’ve been camping for years and this is probably the best site we have stayed on. Large flat pitches with spotless showers and toilets & a hairdryer in one. Washing up area has fridges/freezer, microwave & toaster - even provides free washing up liquid, sponges etc. The owners Juliette & Leigh are very friendly and flexible, nothing is too much trouble for them, really made us feel very welcome. They seem to have thought of everything, fresh farm eggs, milk, coffee & tea for sale if you run out. Lots of returning campers on site which speaks volumes. We will definitely be booking again.
