What customers say
Lovely, peaceful spot! Lodges spotless, hot tubs a hit. Friendly staff, but some cleanliness and maintenance issues reported (mould, weak showers, dirty decks). WiFi iffy.

.lovely just not luxury
Swan lodge (hot tub)
Liked Beautiful setting, fairly easy to find, peaceful. Onsite staff helpful when needed garden area was lovely.. lodge was reasonably clean not like I'd seen on some reviews fantastic shower, plenty of hot water. Very fast WiFi
Disliked Overpriced shop but that's expected. The sites generally a little run down and a bit tatty. Hot tub was clean but not all jets were working, outside lighting was poor some of the solar lights didn't work but it was quite a dark plot with many trees. In the lodge itself there was a tiny TV, lack of storage areas, many scuffs scratches minor damage to walls door frames etc and the bin lid wouldn't stay shut we had to weigh it down with various items. I did mention that to staff and they did say they would sort us a replacement but I forgot to pick it up from the reception. In fairness to them they when I asked if I could get a late check out they have it to us for free.
. On a whole my wife, myself and our little dog had a lovely weekend away for our 20th wedding anniversary. It's just not "luxury" which it was sold to us as being. It's not too far from it they just need a few little bits like toiletries and some tea/coffee in the lodge and maybe something like a vase with some flowers in. It's a slight lack of attention to detail. Fix these and it will be there I'm sure it's just not £200 per night worthy it's more like £150

Disliked Disgusting lodge inside was rotten on arrival had to go and buy cleaning stuff ourselves and cleaned for the first 2-3hours clumps of hair dirt on walls questionable white marks on bed curtain Mold on blinds oil splashes all over back of hob wall black grime on shower heads which fell off onto you when you turned it on. That is just a few things to list we took pictures as proof aswell.
