What customers say

Great adult-only site with neat, level pitches, spotless facilities (modern showers too!). Handy for North Wales. On-site restaurant/spa a bonus. Some road noise from A55 & slight drainage issues acknowledged by management. Super helpful wardens.

From the manager: Hi Jonty. Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and got to enjoy the White House bar. They're lucky that the Guinness doesn't have to travel far when it gets off the ferry!! We look forward to welcoming you back again. Kind regards Simon & Kay (Warden Team)

From the manager: Hi Laura. Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and got to experience the White House. We are open all year so you can always return to enjoy the Spa facilities, in my opinion the outside hot tub is even better when the outside temperature is colder. We hope to see you again. Kind regards Simon & Kay (Warden Team)

Disliked Park lighting was very bright so disturbed our sleep

From the manager: Hi. Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. The park lighting can be a bit of a balancing act to get enough light for people to move around safely without being too bright. We will check the lights on your pitch. We hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards Simon & Kay (Warden Team)

Local attractions

On the coast, take trips around the coastline to Prestatyn, Abergele, Conwy Bay and onto Wales's biggest seaside resort Llandudno, home to the longest toboggan run in Britain. Snowdonia National Park is to the west of Rhuallt and is probably the most-visited area for walkers in this part of Wales, but hiking types have heaps more to pick from, like the Clwydian Range and the Vale of Clwyd inland and the Llŷn Peninsula and coastal paths of Anglesey towards the water. The National Cycle Network Route 5 runs along the fairly easy miles from Rhyl to Prestatyn, but if you fancy something a bit more hair-raising, mountain biking trails like the ones at Coed Llandegla Forest are easy to get to from Rhuallt Country Park and have lanes divided by ability so that the experienced can really hurtle along.
