What customers say
Great spot, 10-15 mins from Llangollen via canal. Hosts give a lekker welcome (often with cake!). New loos and showers are tops. Some pitches are a bit sloped, and facilities are still being built up.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The site is perfectly placed if you are looking to visit Llangollen, but that isn't the best part.
This is a real hidden gem in a sea of campsites nearby.
From the start the owners are in touch with easy to understand directions and check in instructions.
As we arrived we were met with some delicious homemade cake which made us feel welcomed immediately (rhubarb and custard was fantastic).
We were given an overview of where everything was and left to pitch.
We had one of the scenic pitches and whilst we needed ramps, the slight incline was worth it for the views, especially when we were treated to the sunset.
The facilities are fantastic and a separate toilet was being opened whilst we were there to save any waits whilst people have their showers.

Overall good value for money with excellent hosts and services.
Electric gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Superb bathrooms and showers, great welcome with cake, great flat pitch, all services expected from a caravan site.
Disliked Dogs allowed to roam free.

From the manager: Thanks Steve, we have avoided pitch numbers at this stage as it's a quirky site being on a hill and all of them are different. We would have to list them all separately which is a bit of an administrative burden!
Good point re dogs, (and we have been guilty a couple of times with dogs that we look after!). We are ordering more signage over the coming weeks and this will be included. It will then be easier to enforce. Mark

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked A good new small site. Very welcoming and comfortable. The facilities will be great once they are finished. Very convenient for walking along the canal to the centre of Llangollen. Very convenient for us as a stop-over on the way to the ferry at Holyhead.

Owner is great, toilet/Elsan spotless. Home baked cake as a welcome.
Electric gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Booked as a last minute break to visit Llangollen and the location was perfect and very peaceful too. Its obvious the owners have worked very hard and invested a lot in just a year to improve this old site . We loved the wash pods which were spotless and the gift of home made cake , thankyou.
Disliked We only had two nights there, hopefully we can return soon. Otherwise it was brilliant.
