A lekker, well-situated campsite. Vriendelike, helpful owners offer a warm welcome (often with cake!). Easy walk to Llangollen via canal. Facilities are much improved & clean, with more upgrades coming. Some spots might need blocks.

Liked Fab site, the owners are lovely & very welcoming.
The welcome information before arrival was great & we got insider tips on arrival which were specific to our needs.
It’s a tidy site with central grassed area, plenty of electric hook ups & water points, reactive solar lights to light the path at night & a nice secure gate, so it feels safe & secure.
Disliked There’s nothing we didn’t like!
The owners recently bought the site & are adding to the facilities as they go, but what they have so far is perfect & high quality. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product & are happy to support their journey!

Liked Fabulous site on the side of a hill with views along the valley. VERY good facilities including recycling for waste. Showers are second best of our travels (Clear Skies will never be beaten) . A 15 minute walk into Llangollen (good selection of shops (fantastic butcher’s!!) pubs, walks) means you can pitch up and stay for as long as you want without having to move your mobile home. Best of all is the welcome. They genuinely care and want you to enjoy their site. They bring you cake when you are settled. I’m not joking!!
Disliked Wi-Fi is 50/50. That’s all I’ve got! 😂

Liked Nice friendly hosts, great location for walking straight from site or 10 mins walk into town. Very quiet at night and in morning
Regular Improvements clearly underway and plans are in place for various projects.
Disliked Not a huge criticism but the pitch could have been better, requested van and awning pitch and for van to be level awning was on slope meaning the tunnel was constantly keeping water as couldn’t have it taught, awning was also butted right up to the water point. However improvements are clearly being made and owners are investing on various aspects. Potentially levelling the pitches on left hand side of site is part of this.
