Liked: This is a really good, no thrills, budget campsite. 3 large fields to pick from, park where you like and set up. Everyone on this site has always been very friendly.
Disliked: Fields are on a slight slope so bring some wheel chocks if you have some.

Liked: Really wonderful views across the valley. Basic campsite but the price is very reasonable and great for a night. Quiet though we were off season and had only two other campervans in our field. Think it's used for schools quite a lot for walking or Duke of Edinburgh, there was a large group of youngsters camping in another field.
Disliked: The porta loos, about 10 of them in a long line and ruins the view. Most were locked, and the two that were open had no toilet flush or handsoap/gel and were a bit scuzzy with flies and unhygienic (as with most porta loos). Better to use the toilet block which were fine (3 toilets and one shower that cost 50p, in both men's and womens). If they took out the porta loos and maybe had compost loos or extended the toilet block it would be so much better. Take chocks if in a camper as the fields are on a bit on a slope in most parts.

Liked: The toilet block was nice, unlike the portable toilets in the field, reception shed was cute and the man there was nice. Field was a bit lopsided so bare that in mind when pitching. Nice location we would stay here again
Disliked: Portable toilets were disgusting, smelt horrible even just walking past them

Liked: We basically had the field to ourselves which was nice. The views was amazing night and day and would defo camp here again. Friendly and helpful couple.
Disliked: Shower blocks were abit rough but visibly the couple were trying hard to keep it clean, apart from that we would recommend it.
