What customers say
A chilled, friendly campsite with great value. Guests love the prime spot near the beach, the owner’s helpfulness, and the clean, basic facilities. Lots of space, lovely views, and close to the beach/nature reserve. Some mention the train line, but most find it not too disruptive.

Ty-Gwyn Campsite modestly under promises and quietly over delivers.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely welcome.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Plenty of flat ground for tents.
Lovely views. Short walk to beach.
Short walk to a bar/restaurant on another campsite that is open to the public.
Cleanliness of toilets, showers and washing up areas.
Fridge/freezer provided for communal use.
Free WiFi and secure phone charging facility.
Very competitive prices provide excellent value.
Disliked 'Disliked' is far too strong a term but it's the only thing that prevents a full 10 star review. It's the adjacent railway line with trains running from 5 am to very late at night every hour, or two hours or so. But to be fair, this is made clear in the site information, so I knew about it, I expected it and it's detrimental affect on my stay was minimal and far outweighed by all the glorious positives of this campsite.

Liked Martin was very welcoming and friendly. The site was super relaxed and very clean.
Lots of room and nice and flat for my tent.
Very quiet at night and got a great night's sleep.
Disliked The 5am train as my alarm clock, but the site is right next to the train line so is to be expected.
